Hello everyone, and welcome to my first report on this site!
On June'25, I decided I needed a break from my hectic work life in Saudi Arabia and planned a 5–6 day vacation. With recent changes in visa policies, I discovered that I could travel to Georgia with a visa on arrival, using just my Saudi residence permit.
I booked my tickets with Flynas, which offers direct flights to Tbilisi (TBS), the capital city of Georgia. Flynas currently operates direct flights to both Tbilisi and Batumi. As a low-cost carrier, Flynas often offers cheaper fares compared to other airlines. My ticket cost only SAR 1,123 (~USD 300), including a 7 kg cabin baggage allowance. I opted for random seat selection to avoid extra charges and ended up with an aisle seat.
About the Flynas Fleet. As of now, Flynas operates a fleet of 63 aircraft: 57 Airbus A320neo, 4 Airbus A320ceo & 2 wide-body Airbus A330
At the Farnborough Airshow 2024 in London, Flynas announced a major expansion, confirming a landmark purchase of 160 new Airbus aircraft — including 30 A330neo wide-body and 130 A320 family narrow-body jets. This move will double their total orders to 280 aircraft within seven years, aiming to become the region’s largest modern aircraft operator.

Our original departure time from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia’s capital) was 7:20 AM, but it was rescheduled to 5:55 AM. Thankfully, Flynas offers web check-in, which made the process smooth — I was able to check in online and head straight to immigration without waiting at check-in counters.

Once through immigration, I proceeded to the gate for Flight XY309 (aircraft: HZ-NS47, A320neo) which is shown above. In the meantime I took some photos of the terminal and other flights when I was waiting for my flight. Other aircraft prepping for departure at the time included:
1. FlyPegasus PGT691 / PC691 – Istanbul (SAW)
2. Flynas wet-leased 9M-LRK & 9M-LRP (Batik Air 737 Max 8s) alongside a Flyadeal A320, another Flynas A320, and a Saudia aircraft in the background
3. Flynas XY508 (HZ-NS56) – Milas–Bodrum, Turkey
4. Royal Jordanian 735 (JY-AZC) – Amman, Jordan
5. Turkish Airlines TK145 (TC-LSJ) – Istanbul
6. Flynas XY303 (HZ-NS39) – Trabzon, Turkey
7. Flydubai FZ850 (A6-FEG) – Dubai, UAE

Boarding began promptly at 5:30 AM and went smoothly. The legroom was comfortable with a 30-inch pitch, and the aircraft configuration had 162 economy seats plus 4 premium seats (with middle seats blocked for extra space). The only onboard literature was the buy-on-board menu and safety instructions.
At 5:55 AM, we pushed back from the gate, and by 6:09 AM, we were airborne. After takeoff, I spent some time binge-watching shows. I also took a few (admittedly grainy) photos during the flight — mostly out of boredom.

We landed at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) at 11:25 AM under clear skies. Although the landing was slightly bumpy, we reached the gate by 11:38 AM, disembarked quickly, and began our exciting journey through Georgia.

Hi there, thanks for sharing your first review here with us. It's cool to see a report on Flynas as there aren't that many out there. The NEO cabin looks nice and modern, it's too bad that there's not at least some form of streaming IFE to personal devices, but it's understandable for an LCC.
Thanks for sharing and welcome!
Thank you for your kind support, I do hope to include even more flight report in coming months. Regarding Flynas, I would say it is rapidly becoming a top LCC's currently in the flight industry.
Thanks for sharing and welcome to Flight Report. I've heard that flynas is a great airline especially for a LCC but there aren't that many detailed reviews of them so this was nice to read.
The schedule change would have made me pretty frustrated! At least the seat and cabin and all seem decent, how were the crew? I'm assuming there was a buy on board service, did they offer free water or anything or was it all paid?
The crew was okay, but there is no free water service. You need to pay for that as well.
