This report is from March 2025. I arrived in Kolhapur, Read the flight report - Star Air S5161 Mumbai to Kolhapur
I had short transit of 30mins due to late arrival of the previous flight.
Pre-Departure
I had the booked the flight to reduce the transit time. Flight was booked through the Indigo website. I had also selected the seat in the forward section.

I logged in the website to complete the web check-in.

Departure Entry
After exiting the arrival area, I walked towards the departure gate D2.
I then queue to enter the check-in area. There were 2 people ahead of me to enter. Booking information and passport was checked by Police. Its didn't take long.

After entering the check-in area, have to scan the check-in bag.

Check-in
At the check-in counter, there was 1 person ahead. In a couple of minutes it was my turn. I handed the booking information and passport for verification.
Boarding pass was printed and explained the gate information.
As Kolhapur is a regional airport, there is nothing after check-in.I had nothing to do, decided to complete the security. Security check is next to the check-in counters.
Security
I cleared security, but my bag was checked. I had placed the electronic items in the tray, was asked about the Gopro camera clip. Got the all clear to continue.
Waiting area
In the departure waiting area, there are seats facing air-side. Star Air flight passengers had boarded the aircraft.
While the Hyderabad bound passengers were waiting for boarding call.
The StarAir aircraft had completed boarding.
Star Air ready to taxi to runway.
Time passed quickly. Indigo aircraft had arrived and passenger boarding had commenced. I waited for minutes after the boarding call to join the boarding queue. Time was almost 11.15a.m
Departure gate
At the boarding gate 1, boarding pass was scanned. I was then allowed to continue towards the waiting bus.
Once inside the bus, found a spot to stand. After a few more passengers had boarded. Bus started towards the aircraft. In about 2mins reached the aircraft.
Boarding
Disembarked the bus and walked towards the ramp, where a ground crew checked and stamped the boarding pass.
I then walked up the ramp and entered the aircraft.
Crew was inside the aircraft to direct passengers.
The Hyderabad bound flight was full. Seating in the forward section, waited for others to settle down.

Settled in seat. Pilot outside the aircraft.

Cabin was clean, I thinks its vinly flooring.

The small tray was enough to hold drinks and sandwiches.
Not big.
Returned to lock position.

Taxi and Departure
Another bus carrying last load of passengers arrived. Door was closed.
Crew made announcements to welcome passengers which was followed by manual safety demonstration.
Aircraft engines were turned on and taxi commenced in front of the Terminal.
Kolhapur being a single runway airport with no taxiway. Aircraft continued to the end of runway 07-25 and performed a 360 degree turn to lineup for departure.

Rotation was quick and aircraft was airborne in a couple of minutes.
Inflight
Cabin crew made safety and service announcements and informed passengers to close the window shades to reduce cabin temperature.
Some turbulence was experienced during flight. Seat belt sign was switched on.
Cabin Service
Crew conducted Buy on Board Cabin service. I didn't make an purchase. I rested during the flight.
Approaching Hyderabad
Flying time for this flight is short and soon it was landing time. Announcement made to prepare for landing. Crew checked cabin and collected rubbish.

In few minutes, descend commenced.

Disembarkation
After landing, aircraft taxied to remote parking bay and had to wait for few minutes for the ground crew to marshall the aircraft.
Aircraft was parked in bay.
Disembarkation through the rear door.
I was in no rush and waited for others to disembark.
Airport bus arrived to pick passengers. I disembarked and boarded the bus.

I took escalator to upper level and then some walk to reach another escalator down to baggage reclaim.
First bags had stared to arrive when I reached the belt 2.
I got my bag and then walked out of the arrival into the outside foyer.

I got the bag within 5mins and walked towards the exit. Taxi information outside the arrivals area.

I was transiting through Hyderabad. After checking the bus information, I took escalator to Departures.
