Namaste/SwadeeKhrap/Hello Everyone 🙏
This is my Flight review onboard Thai AirAsia flying from my homebase, Lucknow (LKO) to my second home, Bangkok (DMK) and even though I fly (FD) quite often between India and Southeast Asia/Australia, I rarely come across a major fault or lack in this particular airline of what it offers in the price that it offers its services and this particular flight was just as pleasant as all my flights are with Thai AirAsia.

I reached my home airport's Terminal 3 way ahead of time cause I love to planespot and being a YouTuber its always good to have enough time to take multiple videos to choose from instead of filming in a haste. Our new Integrated terminal is miles ahead of the older International terminal building especially the number of Check-in Counters,Immigration Counters and security chekx points so Im glad we finally have a spacious and well designed terminal building and its still under further expansion for better handling of flights and passengers.

My flight FD147 was operated by Airbus A320Neo Registration (HS-CBH) and the flight arrived a few minutes late but that was'nt a bother as the ground staff promptly got the aircraft ready for departure and our boarding started smoothly and swiftly.
This flight again was full of Buddhist pilgrims who were returning after pilgrimage to Buddhism's most sacred sites in my state of (Uttar Pradesh) for eg. Sravasti,Saarnath,Kushinagar and Buddha Gaya(Bihar) and Lumbini(Nepal) also Hindu Pilgrims from Malaysia,Indonesia,Thailand,Australia,New Zealand,Fiji etc who were returning back from "Mahakumbh" (The Largest Religious Human Gathering on the planet) after taking a dip in the holy confluence of holy rivers Ganga,Yamuna and Saraswati.

I was seated on seat 22F and the legroom as usual is Okish for someone my height so I didn't have any issues with that.Talking about the seat pocket contents then its pretty basic with a flight safety card,Menu/Magazine and a Promotional/Sales booklet.
Flight took off a little behind schedule depature time and intrestingly the Captain tookoff from mid runway which was surprising as the flight was packed and I thought it'd be heavy but then I believe the pilots know what they are doing so its all good.

Soom after taking off from RWY 27 we turned left and turned back towards east enroute Thailand and as we cruised the Cabin Crew began the In-Flight services with priority given to those pax who had Pre-booked their meals. This time I had pre booked one of the only two vegetarian options that were available while booking my flight i.e "Hyderabadi Veg Biriyani"

It was served hot and tasted fresh and it also had a tomato gravy on the side to go with which I didn't like it and I think it could have been better if they had just served the entire biriyani with may be a packet of pickle instead. Overall it was a tasty meal minus the gravy which I left as it is.

AirAsia has been ranked as one of the best Low Cost Cariers in the world multiple times by various airline rating agencies and I truly validate these rankings because I fly them very often and the sheer penetration of AirAsia into major countries across Asia to not just the major cities but even the smaller towns and cities is amazing and thats what I believe is the major reason for their success.
In my country, India, alone AirAsia is flying to 17 destinations including the most remote airport where its extremely hard for international passengers to fly to i.e Port Blair,Andaman Nicobar Islands. AirAsia is the only and first international Airline that connects these paradise Islands to International travellers. It also flies to Australia,Kazakhstan,Kenya,Saudi Arabia among many other countries which is a testimony to their growing prowess in the aviation sector.

I didn't purchase any inflight sales or products and spent my time reading the magazine and took a nap for an hour as we cruised at 37000 FT and the cabin crew dimmed the lights for the remainder of the flight and after over two hours into the flight the cabin lights were lit up again as soon we were descending towards DMK as the cabin crew prepared the cabin for landing.

We landed at RWY 21R of Bangkok (DMK) and swiftly vacated the runway taxing towards gate no. 26 which is an aerobridge bay and despite the delayed departure we arrived 15 minutes before Sceduled Arrival time which is what crew never forgets to remind us with their post landing announcements.
Overall a good flight with Thai AirAsia yet again !

AirAsia's pre-ordered hot meals always look good, and I love how cheap they are! I enjoyed the few flights I've had with them. Yes, the cabins are cramped, like any low-cost carrier, but the seats are well-padded and comfortable and they're generally a good value with friendly service. Thanks for sharing and welcome to Flight-Report!
Thank you for going through my Flight Report.I always enjoy flying with AirAsia but I just hope they serve complimentary water to pax which would be best.
