Review of Eastar Jet flight from Seoul to Jeju City in Economy

hi everyone Welcome to another  trip  report today we reviewing a  south korean low cost carrier eastar jet ride to jeju .There are many daily flights to jeju from gimpo departing every hour and many korean carrier such as asiana airlines,korean air ,jin air,jeju airlines ,air seoul and eastar jet and eastar jet is a all boeing 737800 and 737 max 8 fleet  which only has 15 in the fleet 

Getting to gimpo airport

We took the Arex transit train directly bellow  seoul incheon terminal 2   which took about 40 minutes  to get there and arrived at the seoul gimpo airport and make a long walk to the domestic terminal 

There flight information display (FIDS) near the escalator  we checkin for eastar jet  using the kiosk and counter checkin  right after lunch and walk around the airport   even drinking coffee at the cafe before proceeding thru security which took about 1 minute and proceeded to gate 1 for boarding our B737 800 However our flight is delayed for 1 hour and waited at the gate until boarding commence after the passengers disembark from the earlier flight and make a quick turnaround to jeju.

Here my ride to jeju island from seoul gimpo its a 15 year old B737 800  HL8578 (Hotel Lima 8578) it made multiple flights to jeju  and seoul gimp as well

The seat has only magazine and buy on board catalog  along with safety card however there no inflight entertainment for a short 1 hour ride to jeju 

Even the nice view of the b737 800 wing as well as korean air A220 200. The  safety demonstration was done manually and push back at gate 1 

few minutes later after taxing we take off from gimpo airport  with a nice window view leaving seoul behind and slept for an hour till shortly starting our decent into jeju airport 

We landed around 6 49Pm 1 hour and 49 minutes behind the sechduled arrival and taxi towards gate 1 before disembarking the 737800 we pick up our suitcase at the domestic arrival before walking out to the pickup point to wait for my family rented  ioniq 5 car to get to the airbnb  which waited about 35 minutes after arrival

overall this a good and short flight to jeju and definetely enjoy eastar jet again soon
