Intro
When the desire to travel is strong, there is always a way to make it happen.
At the same time there were a wish for new flight and opportunity for experience with new aircraft I've never flew before, this time it was ATR 72-600.
This time it was the easiest way to combine it into domestic flight from Belgrade to Niš, short flight but such a cool experience.
Belgrade BEG Airport
BEG Belgrade Airport is about 20-30 minutes from city center by car / taxi ( taxi is not cheap in Belgrade), about 30-45 minutes by bus, so there are options for everyone, the cheapest option is by bus ( you can find on internet what bus will be the best option for you because there is no just one, but 3 bus options to get you to this airport ).
New part of the airport is so well organized, clean and functional. Definitely just nice words to say for thiss airport and airport stuff.
This time, I only had carry-on luggage with me, so there was no need to wait in line. However, it’s definitely best to complete online check-in in advance. Instead of waiting in line for nearly an hour, it’s much better to do online check-in and wait in a line with just a few people, completing the whole check-in process in about 10-15 minutes including the wait.
Here, you can see what to expect for line of people who haven’t checked in online, if you have done with it you will just wait few minutes.
I did online check in so didn't wait here so directly got to area where you will wait for domestic flights ( BEG - INI, BEG - KVO ( Kraljevo Morava Airport )).
Gate for this domestic flight was A11 and as you can see it is small room where you will have fast in-room security control and wait for your flight.
Because of later landing of our airplane the flight was scheduled for 17:45 ( 5:45 PM ) instead of 17:00 ( 5PM ), so to get to plane you will have short bus ride from your gate.

To be honest, I didn’t want to have any special expectations for this flight, firstly it is domestic and given its short duration, so the airline couldn’t fully showcase its capabilities.
Definitely I have decided to simply enjoy every moment.
Outside look of airplane, small of course, but has some beautiful siluete and it shines in its own unique way.
It really is quite beautiful.
Interior of this aircraft is so much better than I tought that it will be:
- legroom - as you can see it is not that small legroom, I'm 1.9m ( 6,23ft )
- configuration 2x2
all in all it's really good.
My seat was 3A, so the view from this position is definitely the best if you want to experience ATR 72 on its all beauty.
Few minutes later, we were ready to take off.
Take off view to Belgrade is apsolutely fantastic, just to sit and enjoy in it.
During the flight
Short domestic flight, 45 minutes in air, nothing to expect so beside fantastic view and new experience nothing to get of course.
Fast take off and so pleasured flight, nothing to complaining about.
Landing to INI
Smooth landing like always Air Serbia do, really loved it not just because I love Niš, but because of bautiful landscape during landing and there is something special in small airports, I really love its vibe.
Niš INI Airport is small so there is no waiting for luggage and other stuff, so you will be from plane to parking in front of the airport for 5-10 minutes.

As I said it is small airport with nice energy, it has something special, for example everyone is smiling and will help you for even small things, and it really means a lot.
It has new part of the airport so it is well oranized and really beautiful inside and outside.
From Niš you can fly to Turkey, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Malta, Switzerland, etc. so it is good option to fly from or if you can find some connection there to your next flight.
From airport to city center you are in 10 minutes by car / taxi, so it is fantastic opportunity to explore new city.
Nice to see a domestic flight on AirSerbia, however I'd say that the product TAROM offers on their ATR 72 in that region is much nicer in terms of cabin. Did they bother to provide any BoB on a domestic flight? Thanks for sharing tho.
Thanks for sharing this FR, didn't know JU had a domestic route. It's a shame their catering is dried up post-EY investment, but I guess on a 200km flight, even a water bottle could be considered a stretch.
