Hi,
We arrived at the small but nice Inverness Airport on a sunny afternoon (not that typical for Scotland weather).

The small Check in area was rather calm and I quickly dropped my luggage at the dedicated Club Europe counter.

From landside you can have some nice views on the waiting aircraft as well.

Once airside I wanted to visit the Aspire lounge which is included in BA Club Europe tickets. Unfortunately the lounge is very small and was already completely packed when I arrived. The agent could not allow more customers in but offered me a free bottle of water as take away. This was rather disappointing but on the other hand boarding would start in ca. 15 minutes anyway.

Some nice views on the apron just before boarding.

Boarding is a nice walk across the apron onto that special ramp that is very rarely used in Europe - I have only seen that in Australia before. It actually is much more comfortable than the normal stairs.

Great views of our A320 in the sunny afternoon.

I soon took my seat in row 4 of a massive Business Class cabin. Strangely no curtains were used to divide Club Europe from Euro Traveller (Economy) on that plane.

Seat pitch was good and the seat offered a very comfortable pattern (better than on many other European narrowbodies).

Soon boarding was finished and we started to taxi.

Taking of with some nice views of Scotland for this ca. 1 hour 10 minutes flight.

Great Scottish scenery while climbing to cruising altitude:

Soon cabin crew sprung into action and offered Afternoon Tea service - a choice of vegetarian or chicken & salmon sandwiches was offered. I decided for the latter one. A nice warmed scone was offered from a basket. The meal tasted very good and was perfectly fitting for that time of the day.

Drinks followed soon and I ordered some nice glass of Champagne, water and some tea.

Flight passed by very quickly and soon we descended into LHR with some magnificent views over London including Tower Bridge and London Eye.

Banking over suburbs before touching own on time.

We parked at A pier of BA's home Terminal 5.

Nice to see a review on BA from Inverness. On a recent trip to Scotland I hesitated between flying in to Inverness or Edinburgh, but went with EDI in the end as there were more flights and we didn't go that far up in the Highlands. Next time, I was to fly into Inverness though, and go higher up to Skye and the Orkneys maybe.
Haha yeah, I was there in July and had rain and 11-12C high temps most of the time in the Highlands.
Wow, that's not good at all. I would not be happy. Sounds like BA need to invest in opening their own lounge at INV!
Strange, maybe the divider was broken. Between the lack on tables in the middle on NEOs and no curtain on this flight, there's really not much difference with Economy.
Thanks for sharing!
