Hi,
Arriving at the nice small Luxemburg Airport at a sunny morning.
Priority check in was very quick as was fast track security afterwards.
Immediately airside you reach the Luxair Lounge.
The Lounge has a nice and airy atmosphere with plenty of different seating options.
Including apron views.
The buffet provided some nice breakfast options.
Here my selection:
After I while I made my way to the bus boarding pier having a first view on the waiting Luxair Dash 8s.
Priority boarding was announced quickly and soon I was on the apron having some great views of this splendid nice turboprop.
A friendly crew welcomed me and I took my nice window seat in row 3.
The neighbour seat always remains empty in Luxair Business Class.
Safety demonstration followed and soon we taxied for departure.
Climbing out of Luxemburg for a flight to Montpellier taking 1 hour 45 minutes.
Soon the friendly cabin crew started service with the distribution of paper table clothes, a small printed menu and a nice refreshing towel.
Some moments later I was asked for my drink choices to be served with the meal.
This flight features a nice sounding cold lunch:
The tray was soon brought to me and looked very nice.
Including nice metal cutlery.
Followed quickly by my ordered drinks.
Enjoying the very tasty meal with some nice views outside.
The extremely friendly crew came back frequently to offer drink refills.
After my meal I had a cup of coffee that was offered with some tasty chocolates.
After a while of relaxing we started our descend above South France.
Bonbons were offered during descend as well.
Flying over the city of Montpellier.
Touching down and landing on time.

It's been a veeery long time since I've flown through LUX, but I remember it being a very pleasant little airport. Wow, a full printed menu on intra-European Business is so rare. And the meal, for being a cold meal, looks really good and the portions are quite generous. All of this, along with the blocked adjacent seat make for a nice premium experience. So many European carriers don't bother blocking the adjacent seats on Turbo Props or Regional Jets in 2-2 configuration and that's really a shame in Business class as it takes away the value of buying Business if there's no extra space. All around a good performance by Luxair!
