Hi,
Check In for my flight was quick and friendly at the dedicated Thai Airways priority desk.

Security was also a breeze as it was very quiet at that late morning time.
Due to my Star Alliance Gold status I was entitled to visit the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at the H gates level of Terminal 2. The lounge was quiet and I found a nice and comfortable corner of the lounge.

The design is nice and provides a stylish business style atmosphere.

Some looks on the buffet.

This was my selection of a small lunch & dessert.

I headed to the gate and found my Thai A350 already waiting.

Boarding started perfectly on time and happened in a quiet and rather well organized approach.
I was greeted by the friendly crew and entered the Business Class cabin. This was the moment when I was very positively surprised: the seats looked very modern and totally different than the usual Thai Business Class product. I was luckily and ended up on one of Thai Airways most recent 2 A350s that just joined their fleet last year and had were originally delivered to Hainan Airlines - thus offering this different cabin product which Thai took over but adapted to their Corporate design.

The seat was very comfortable - I especially like the many different stowage compartments.

Pillows, blankets, slippers and an amenity kit were waiting on the seat.

The amenity kit is in a nice design and offers a good selection of products.

One compartment held the nice good quality noise cancelling headsets.

Also waiting at the seat were a printed menu & drink list.

The menu sounds promising:

The drink menu also offers a nice selection of champagnes, wines and more.

Quickly a friendly cabin crew member approached me and offered me a welcome drink - followed by a nice hot towel on a small tray.

Still on the ground meal orders were taken by the cabin crew for both meal services.

We pushed back on time and taxied out.

We took of and climbed to cruising altitude for this flight time that would take rather short 9 hours to Bangkok this night.

Getting comfortable and enjoying the views outside.

Service started with an aperitif of Gin Tonic for me accompanied by cold nuts and a very tasty fish cakes dish.

Another hot towel followed - one of many on this Thai flight!

Next the tray was laid out with a table cloth and the starter was served. Followed by nice warm bread from a basket.

More drinks followed.

I had decided for the Thai chicken main course which tasted great - as did the whole lunch.

Drinks were refilled several times before the cheeses course came next.

Finishing with a tasty dessert plus a cup of Oolong tea and Baileys.

I watched a movie and then tried to have some sleep. In general the bed mode was comfortable but we had quite many hard turbulences this night - somehow I did not manage to get some good sleep.
About 2 hours out of Bangkok the mood lighting was turned on again and hot towels helped to wake up.

First some drinks were offered from a trolley.

Followed by the tasty breakfast. Warm breads and croissants were offered several times from a basket.

Quickly the flight came to an end and we descended into Bangkok and landed still in the dark very early morning - actually 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of schedule because of the very short flight time.

The cabins are indeed very chic. Thai are always good about designing very nice cabins. Catering looks good as usual with TG.
Thanks for sharing!
