Welcome back to another trip report!
This is a continuation of my one trip itinerary with TAP Air Portugal that originated in Porto to Barcelona via Lisbon this evening. After landing from my previous TAP Express flight from Porto, I had about 3 hours or so to kill here in Lisbon. While here I realized that LIS is not necessarily an airplane spotting friendly airport and there was a scarce amount of seating for one to sit and settle down in between layovers. I did though make my way to the very crowded food court area and got myself a seat there and enjoyed a McDonalds. Since I was disappointed that I couldn't plane spot any aircraft I spent the remainder of my time editing videos and checking emails. I was however excited for tonight's flight to BCN as it would be operated by an A320neo, it'll be a first for me! Not to mention I got lucky again on this flight and was assigned a window seat ?.

As it got closer to departure time I made my way to the flight information board to check on the status on my flight and departure gate. For a quick sec I thought my flight got cancelled as next to where my flight number TP 1042 it said 'cancelled'. But after better analyzing the board I learned that it was TP 1064 to Bilbao that was cancelled. A huge sigh of relief cause I couldn't afford a cancellation on this flight as it's TP's last flight of the day to BCN and I had an AF flight early the next morning to Paris.

Made my way through the terminal to look for my gate S21.

Boarding
Boarding began on time and on this flight I was assigned to board with group B.

After scanning my boarding pass we went down stairs and to my delight we would be boarding our aircraft from a remote stand. A lot of passengers around me though were upset as they expected an airbridge.

Some information about my plane:
Flight number: TP 1042
Aircraft: Airbus A320-251N
Registration: CS-TVI
Delivered: March 15, 2021
Age: 1.8 years
Here's my beautiful A320neo taking ma across the Iberian peninsula to Barcelona this evening. Interesting fact about this aircraft when I later researched its registration was that it was involved in an incident that left two people dead.

Upon entering the aircraft I was greeted by a kind FA and made my way to my seat.

Here's my seat 15A.

Legroom was the standard 28" of pitch. Not terrible for a short flight as this one.

Tray table/seat back contents
The tray table was a decent size and even had grooves in them to place a tablet and a drink.

Safety card.

Air sickness bag.

BOB Menu.

Here came the last bus with pax.

Eventually boarding was complete and tonight we have an extremely light load up to Barcelona this evening. The loads were around 30-35%, everyone pretty much had their own rows to themselves including me :).

pushback/takeoff
We pushed back 8 minutes ahead of schedule.

Passed by the LCC terminal where Wizz, Ryanair and Vueling operate out of.

We lined up on the runway for takeoff.

Takeoff was smooth and it amazes me how quite these CFMI LEAP-1A are on takeoff.

inflight service
About 20 minutes into flight the FA's sprung into the cabin to begin the BOB service.

The only complimentary item available was a cup of water.

As this was a night flight, it was pretty uneventful with nothing to see outside. I took advantage of my row to myself and turned it into a sky couch ?.

initial descent
Before I knew it we began our initial descent into BCN.

Barcelona in the distance.

We were in a holding pattern for a little bit before we made our final approach into the airport.

landing/taxi
We lined up on final onto runway 02

Welcome to Barcelona ??!

We arrived at the gate 10 minutes ahead of schedule.

deplaning

One last look at my A320neo, thanks for the safe flight!

This concludes the trip report, thanks for reading!
Great report as always! TAP is pretty bare bones but can offer a really good value as they’re often cheaper than the competition. They also have a nice modern fleet, though I wouldn’t wanna be in one of those slimlines for more than 2 hours.
Thanks for sharing!
