Some spotting while walking:
Embraer 175 Compass :
737-800 Delta, SkyTeam Livery :
Quite a big airport but very nice and clean:
SIDA in French means AIDS, lost in translation :(
This 757 next door of mine was leaving to LAX :
I settle down near my gate and I pads are available free of charge, either to order food and drinks or to surf on the web. That's very handy!
My 757-300 arrives:
As usual, deboarding, and straight after boarding with priorities strictly enforced. That's an ex NWA bird, as all 757-300, no surprise to me, the cabin has not yet been refurbished. At time of flying, the first 753 was fitted with the new cabin. The rest of the fleet should follow during 2014. Old cabin, but the seats were comfy though.
The leg room is good:
Only the 753's in the single aisle NWA fleet were fitted with overhead screens:
Loo tour:
No need to push that hard ;)
I won't be seating on a window seat for this flight, but still a picture out of it and the seat recline, not that good:
The safety card:
Welcome drinks, Ice with baileys:
The cabin again together with the PSU:
Early take-off and the table is layed together with the aperitive choice. My friend, the bac&coke:
As meal choice today, it is either philly style sandwich or a farmer salad with chicken and cheese. I'll have the sandwich:
It was very good, even if the pictures don't give it justice. The bread was crispy and the meat, together with the melted cheese, just perfect.
Coffee and the dessert cookie that I saved, and another iceberg with baileys:
Coach is close to 100% full :
The purser will see me going down to coach and asks me if I am lost ;)
Mid-galley and doors 2L/2R:
Finally a meal on a DL domestic flight, it's rather basic (salad + sandwich + cookie) but at least they feeded you!
Thank you again
Nice report on the flying pencil! Thanks for the report
Not being funny but this pickle seems very thick and juicy!
I guess they could improve a bit the sandwich presentation.
