Hi,
After a quick and friendly check in & fast priority security check I spend ca. 45 minutes in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at G gates level of Terminal 2. The Lounge was very empty and quiet this afternoon/early evening.
Some 'Oktoberfest' inspired food was available from the buffet.
Here is my small selection which was rather tasty.
On the way to my boarding gate I already spotted some CRJs including the one operating my flight.
Boarding started perfectly on time and via the apron it was a quick walk to this Lufthansa City Line CRJ 900.
The cabin felt modern and good in shape.
Seat pitch was also totally fine for this commuter plane.
Boarding soon came to an end and the very friendly cabin crew offered a bottle of water to the Business Class guests.
We taxied out and soon took off into nice evening sunset atmosphere.
Soon we reached our cruising altitude and the trolley started to appear. A tasty cold meal - again 'Oktoberfest' inspired was offered with warm breads from the basket.
Drinks were offered as well - including refills later on.
After the meal I ordered a cup of coffee - followed by a farewell chocolate from a nice small box.
After 1 hour flight across Germany we started our descend through cloudy skies and landed on time at small but cozy Westerland airport on Sylt.
Disembarkation was quick and soon I was in the small terminal to pick up luggage only 5 minutes later.

The meal looks quite good for a 1h flight on a CR9. It's also good that LH group keep adjacent seats empty in J on regional jets, unlike most other European carriers. It makes all the difference between J and Y.
