Hello guys! Welcome back to my second flight report! Sorry for uploading this late! Btw, I am planning to travel soon. Do you have any good suggestions? I live in Hong Kong.
Hong kong international airport
As the flight is in morning, I decided to wake up early and go to the airport by bus. You can also choose to go to there by MTR Airport express. Cathay’s check in counter for Economy is at C. It is a busy morning, which you have to line up for 5-10 minutes for the Economy baggage counter. I got some images for you.

The customs are fast, but there is a bit of a queue. You have to spend approximately 5 minutes on that.
Airside and boarding
After that, I decided to have some plane spotting. There are some chairs in the airport next to each gate, providing USB charging port, which is quite convenient. They also build a new bridge for plane spotting, which is just next to our gate. How lucky we are!

Our flight today will be operated by B-LRJ, a 6 years old CX A350-900. Cathay informed us that the flight was changed from an A330 to this plane about 2 weeks before the flight, but our window seat is gone :(

Here is our gate - 24. CX691 is cooperated with AA8898. Members started to board first, then it’s Business class, premium economy and economy. I saw some children got their own seat in business class (I am so jealous right now) They set up 2 doors, one for Business, and one for both premium economy and economy. The red arrows represents the doors. (Image from cathaypacific.com)

Seat 62g
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I have already been on this route. I flew with SQ last time on the 777. Let see how is this seat compared to them! Here are a few photos of the safety video, the safety card and the seat. This seat is right next to the aisle, so you can go to toilet without asking your neighbours to get out. I swop seat with my family from 62H to 62G

Before meal service
The plane pushed back on time, but the taxi took almost 15-20 minutes. At about 1.5 hours after pushback, the crew began serving pre-ordered meal. I was watching some films on the IFE. The IFE indeed was great, it had some new movie choices. However, I dislike the earphone a bit. It is a bit too small for me. They provided the standard 0.5mm headphone jack, so BYOH/E! (bring your own headphone/earphone) They still don’t support bluetooth earphones. The IFE is quite large for economy (11.1 inch), and the response speed is decent. There is no remote controls provided. The seat recline was decent. Sadly, the wifi is slow and disconnects sometimes. Sorry that I didn’t took any photos for this part!
Meal

They offered a cup of yogurt, a small box of fruits (watermelon and melon), a bread, a scrambled egg, tomatoes, sausage and potatoes. The fruit and the yogurt was good, but the egg seemed to be a bit too dry. The potato is too soft, which is so strange for me. The sausage is a bit salty too, so the meal is overall a dry one. This is just average meal for me. The other choice was fried noodles with congee, which turned out to be even worser according to my dad.
After meal
The toilet started to become super busy after meal, which you have to line up for that. It is quite messy, mainly because of the huge amount of usage. Unlike the business class one, this toilet got no windows. Then, I spend some time, listening to songs and looking at the pilot mode of camera :)

This image is taken from my CX690 flight. I even used it as my phone wallpaper.

The whole seat actually looks like this (without IFE). They got a small storage, which can also hold your phone and cup. The table is foldable and comes in a decent size. The storage under that table is just average airlines, which stores your sickness bag, safety card and earphones bag. Sorry for the blurry picture.
Landing
We landed at about 1155 and had a short 5 minutes taxi to the gate. This flight turned out to be (quite) on time, but it delayed a bit due to heavy traffic in HKIA. Here is an image taken while taxing. The plane even went on a bridge, which was built on top of the road. It is amazing to see cars going under you. I found a image of it.

And here is a tail camera image while taxing.

We left the plane at around 12. Still 2 bridges set up for departure. The customs were quick. Cathay are using the new T4, which left me amazed.
