I had a delightful stay in Zurich and was now ready to return to VIE. The ride in the train from the city back to the airport was smooth and I used one of the self service kiosks to check-in. For some technical reason I was having difficulty and had to check at the counter. The agent issued me my boarding pass efficiently and I was on my way to security.
I really like ZRH airport. It's clean, spacious and very user friendly in my opinion. As a hub, it is not so big that it seems overwhelming. It's a nice and compact transfer point. I made my way to the gate and took the opportunity to take a couple of shots of my plane parked at A65.

Soon boarding commenced in an orderly fashion. The flight was not very full so I had an empty seat next to me. Once the door closed, a saw a FA walk through the cabin with a tray of toys distributing them to kids which seemed really proactive on her part. I thought these were on a request basis.
After take off a tuna sandwich was distributed. I later learned that there was also a cheese sandwich but the FA never advised the passengers of the choices. Perhaps they were low on the cheese and this was given only when requested. The sandwich was a good size and edible. It consisted of tuna in a mayo base and a thin slice of pickle inside.

A bit later, the FA went around distribution a package of mix and refreshing towels which was odd but appreciated.

Before arrival chocolates were given out as usual on LX.

I stayed at the Intercontinental hotel in VIE which proved to be a central location next to Stadtpark.

Thanks for sharing this latest Swiss Report. Swiss is definitely among the best Euro carriers for both intra-European and long-haul flights. Too bad there aren't more pics of the flight itself (cabin, window views etc), but understandable since it's an older report.
Rest assured that my future reports will cover more basis. I can't wait for the AA A321T inaugural out of SFO to JFK on March 6.
oooh, an AA A321 report! Can't wait!!!!
I subtracted 1 point from the crew for not offering the vegetarian choice. Otherwise they were efficient and polite.
