Hello everyone,
Welcome to my first trip on the Ryanair MAX 8-200; I was excited to finally get a flight on this plus I’d never been to FUE.
As Ryanair have increased the number of aircraft at EDI, I was able to catch a round trip to FUE for around £60 for a quick weekend away.
Early morning departure at 0835 for FR5683, onboard EI-HGF, just under 3 years old. Here she is…

Typical Ryanair boarding process, extra early and held in the cold tarmac until able to board. Can’t complain though with those views of the MAX!
Today I paid for seat 4F to get some engine pictures.

We were on our way with a slight delay of around 10 minutes and a planned airborne time of 4hrs 38mins.
Is it just me or do those MAX engines seem to take a while to come to life?
Departure from RW24 at EDI.

Typical view of the bridges on departure.

Appeared to have a decent load factor too.
Some cabin views and refreshments as we climb up to FL370.

My attempt at trying to get a picture of the plug exit doors giving 10 exits on this Ryanair MAX.

Flight time passed not too badly with some buy on board runs, some downloaded programmes on my ipad and of course, a window view.

Beginning the descent and approach.

And a smooth landing too!

Routing for today.

Some shots deplaning my first Ryanair MAX 8-200.

Hello, there!
Wow! That's an impressive photo!
Sounds like the perfect onboard entertainment to me! I have seen Ryanair's BOB menu ad it looks very complete!
Thanks for the beautiful aerials! I hope you had a great time in your weekend getaway!

Thanks Pilpintu! Glad you like the pictures. Ryanair BOB menu is pretty decent...it has wine ?. The Thai Green curry is not too bad either for £7.
Nice report as always! You almost make Ryanair look good...Almost! It's amazing how they can cram 200 pax on a 737 max without it being any more cramped than their standard Y189 738s. I know these special "Max 8-200" are specially configured for that, but it's still kind of mind-boggling.

Thanks Kevin! I agree, really didn't feel anymore cramped than a standard Ryanair flight. Maybe I was lucky and some rows tighter than others!
