Hi everybody,
needing to go to an event linked to my fundation in Toulouse, I was sent in the morning by train to Toulouse. However, as we are leaving late Toulouse, there is no choice than taking back the airplane to Paris, as i need to be at work tomorrow morning. It will be a one way back with Easyjet for all my group.
We arrived in Toulouse-Blagnac airport 45 min before our flight. A new airport for me, the last "big" french airport I have never been too yet.
We arrived by taxi from the city center for 30€ approximately.
We pass the checks directly, crowded but mostly fast.
I like this system of water bottle distribution for 1€ .
Then, we have the obligation to cross the duty free to join our gate.
The FIDS :
We are really in the Airbus world in TLS.
But, as the branded items are very expensive, I will only take a "remove before flight" of Airbus.
We arrived at our gate, and the boarding has already started. No time for a sandwich, whereas the airport seems to have a nice catering service.

I am amazed by the boarding procedure of U2 in TLS, compared with ORY or CDG, as we are going onto the tarmac before boarding. No jetbridge for us today.
Huge surprise, we will fly on Airbus A321 Neo. The second in a row for me in just two weeks :).

We are at the end of the terminal 2D.
A long walk, on this very huge corrido, which smell the low cost terminal.
I would go back to Paris by Uber with two other friends for approximately 52€.

What is the fare difference between U2 and AF? Looks like heavy traffic to both ORY and CDG on AF at night. The taxi fares are likely as much as the airfare^^
The seat pitch looks tight, but sufficient for this short hop. I’m surprised U2 didn’t opt for the high-density cabins on their A321neos.
Hello and thank you for sharing this report ! U2 is offering a quite convinient service on domestic routes. For the longer routes in Europe, it may be less appropriate with leg space a bit small. There is also no additional service but that is the fare ! See you soon !
Interesting that EZY are doing ground boarding in TLS. The airport is nowhere near full capacity and usually has tons of open gates. Every time I’m in TLS, there are only like 3 or 4 aircraft maximum on the ground at any given time. I wonder if it was an exceptionally busy time or maybe they’re just trying to save money by not using a jetbridge.
Cool to get the A321neo though sadly doesn’t seem to be very much exciting about it. No USB ports on a brand new plane is kind of a shame.
