Hi,
Munich Airport was very busy this school holiday morning - however luckily the Star Alliance Gold / First Class check in counters were empty and priority security control was also rather quick.
I visited the also rather crowded main Senator Lounge at G gates Schengen area. This lounge looks quite worn and dark wwithout any daylight.

Food & drink selection on the buffet was ok but nothing spectacular. I had some breakfast and soon headed to the gate.

Quite a lot of action on the sunny apron this morning.

Boarding unfortunately was dleayed ca. 40 minutes because of ground staff shortage and nobody being available on time to conduct the boarding. After a while we were invited to board the bus that brought us to the Lufthansa City Line CRJ900 operating this flight to Denmark today.

The small regional jet looked nice in the June sun this morning.

Disinfection towels were provided at the entrance.

My window seat was comfortable enough for this short flight although a little bit on the hard side without enough pattern.

We soon left our parking position and taxiied out before we took of to the West for a flight of ca. 1 hour 20 minutes.

We climbed through some clouds before reaching the cruising altitude. Economy Class was about 70% full and Business Class completely empty which is strange for those days. Typically airlines have a very good load in Premium cabins currently.

A first flight attendant passed by and offered the only free item - a small bottle of water from her trolley.

Some minutes later a second trolley followed with Buy on Board service called 'Onboard delights'.

I decided to order one of the salads provided and some white wine with it. My travel companion ordered a different salmon salad bowl. The items were rather expensive, however at least the friendly flight attendant gave as proper Business Class glasses to enjoy the wine.
This is the first salad served with some bread:

And the bowl with some salmon:

Both meals tasted ok but a little bit on the dry and bland side without enough dressing and also only very small pieces of salmon. It was very annoying that the cutlery set only provides a fork while knife and spoon would have been very helpful.
Soon the second free item - a Lufthansa chocolate was served to everybody from a basket.

The rest of the flight passed by quickly overflying Hamburg and heading further north.
We started descend over Denmark mainland with nice flat countryside.

Finally we landed at Billund where no gig action was going on and parked in front of the deserted terminal building.

Thanks for reading,

Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, we have to be used of the delays due to staff shortages. The BoB looks good though.
