Introduction

Transit
Transit time was 2 hours and 20 minutes. I had checked departure details upon arriving in Bangkok.
I had received boarding pass in Sydney and bag was checked till Mumbai, Taking photo of the boarding pass and passport to fill immigration form and to avoid opening bag during flight.
Security Check
Passport and boarding details are checked at the foot of the escalator. Security check for departure is conducted on the upper level. Had to remove shoes and other accessories at the security check. Cleared without issue.
Duty Free Shops
Passed through the duty free shopping area. I had nothing to purchase.
Gate Area
Walking towards gate, which was next to the escalator.
Flight was departing from gate C1.
Took ramp towards boarding gate.
Boarding
Boarding commenced shortly, Not avspotter friendly layout, view of Thai Airways Boeing 747-400 before boarding.
Boarding pass was checked along with passport and visa. There was no boarding queue, Crew was waiting at the door directing passengers to their seat.
OnBoard
Occupied the assigned seat. It was past sunset. light turned on/
PusHback, TaxI And Departure
Pushback commenced on time, Safety demonstration was displayed on personal screen.

SEAT pocket Material
Seat pocket contained Sawasdee, Traveller, Top magazine along with safety card and air sickness bag. Headphones was provided by crew before departure.

Dinner Service
Dinner service commenced soon after departure.
Option was Veg or Non-veg. I chose non-veg which consisted of chicken curry, spinach, chicken malai [Milk cream] and roti with dessert. Food was good.
Flight Information
Cabin light was dimmed after dinner. Rested for the remainder of flight.
Flight route
Crew distributed Indian immigration form to be filled by foreigners. Indian citizen don't have to fill the immigration form. I filled the form and arranged the documents for immigration check.
Reaching Andhra Pradesh, east coast of India.
Still another hour and 43 minutes before arrival.

Captain announced it would take few minutes more to land.
Due to congestion in Mumbai. Aircraft lopped for additional 10 minutes.

Taxi to Terminal
Landed smoothly on runway 27 and exited to taxi towards International terminal 2. Watch video for landing and taxi.

Disembarkation starts after doors opened.

Immigration
Walking towards immigration. Cleared immigration without issues, queue was short as flight arrives before peak arrival after 11p.m
Duty free Shopping
I had to buy some alcohol for gifting.. Paid in Australian dollars and got some Indian rupees in change for taxi.
Baggage Collection and Custom
Baggage was to be collected from carousel 4.
Got bags out in 15 minutes. All bags are screened before reaching belt. I had a X on the bag and had to screen again at customs. No questions asked was allowed to exit the customs area.
Exiting Airport
After customs, headed out towards the taxi kiosk on the right side of terminal. Paid for pre-paid taxi home.
As It was passed peak time, traffic was smooth. Reached home in 40 minutes.
