Hi,
Within Terminal 1 of Dublin Airport I quickly picked up my boarding pass at the deserted LH Group check in zone. This is needed because of a physical covid document check to be performed before receiving the final boarding pass - a common procedure those days.

My Business Class ticket entitled me to Fast Track security which was very quick.

Lufthansa grants you access to the common usage Terminal 1 lounge which all other airlines here use as well. Some views of the entrance next to the security check area.

The lounge was really packed when I arrived but got emptier soon just before closing at 5 PM. Here are some shots of the interior.

A buffet provided some drinks and small snacks - the choise was ok but nothing to really speak about.

Here is what I grabbed:

Soon I made my way to the gate enjoying some views on the sunset apron.

A Lufthansa A320 was already waiting at the gate just before sunset.

Boarding started in a very calm and orderly manner - probably because of the quite low load factor this evening. There was a dedicated priority lane as well which is nice.

At the entrance the usual disinfection towel was provided and I took my window seat 2A.

The cabin felt very well in shape and clean - there were ca. 8 rows of Business Class although all together only 6 passengers ended up in the front cabin. So a very relaxed atmosphere.

Next to us a Lufthansa CRJ900 prepared to depart for Frankfurt.

Boarding was soon completed and a flight time of 1 hour 55 minutes was announced as we taxiied out. I like the nice yellow interior lights on the luggage racks of many Lufthansa narrowbodies as it creates a calm atmosphere on board.

We departed on time and started our journey across Europe.

Soon a rather friendly flight attendant offered me a cold dinner tray - a tasty warm bread roll had already been placed on the tray as well.

Next the drinks trolley passed by and I ordered some white wine and water.

The meal was tasty - however a warm dinner would have been very appreciated on this longer European dinner time flight.
Ca. 15 minutes later drink refills were offered and I ordered a cup of coffee and some Baileys on ice.

The flight passed by quietly and ca. 15 more minutes later an apple and chocolate were offered from a tray to conclude the inflight service.

We landed on time and docked at our gate on Terminal 2.
