Hello and welcome to a new serie of flights to my parent's home in Bordeaux, France.
From Stuttgart, Germany no direct flight. Best options are with Air FrMance KLM, or with Lufthansa via Frankfurt (not sure now after COVID since frequencies are lower), or Vueling over BCN. I took KL for 2 reasons: a very good price of 140€ return, good connections and the doubling of XP points on the FB programme.
I had the very first flight from STR, at 6.00am. Arrivied with the first S-Bahn at 5.00am and was quickly served on the Sky Priority line. When at the desk they called all remaining passengers to AMS as the Air France flight is leaving only at 7am. So no need to arrive too early.

Lufthansa desks serving as well Swiss and Austrian. Very long queue here.

Security was a breeze over the Priority Lane. Today departures. Trafic's lowered a lot since last summer.

Starting today from the previous Lauda / Ryanair gates with pre-bording possibility.

The Skypriority lane was well maintained. No hurry this morning. Was first onboard after disabled passengers.

Door shot.

Legroom was good is that Embraer 175

I was just behind the curtain

A new airline on the platform: airBaltic, on wet lease for Eurowings.

Service today was slightly different. We received a oatmeal cookie. Well filling. Good choice.
On top you may ask for two drinks with KLM.

Landing in the dark. It is 7.15am in AMS.

Slightly foggy this morning.

See you very soon for the next leg.
Hi Airberlin, Happy New Year!
And connecting in AMS is much more pleasant than either FRA or CDG
Shame not to have any nonstop STR-BOD flights--maybe Eurowings did before the pandemic for summer season? Would seem like a logical route for them.
L'instant porte ?
I've seen a lot of complaints about the hard seats on Cityhopper E-Jets...sounds like they need to update the cabins. The new E2 cabins looks great!
Also nice to see KL still offering free drinks and snacks in Y where everyone else is moving to BOB. Points for them!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment Kevin. There are routes with Volotea from both SXB and MUC, so surrounding STR but not yet here. EW doesn't serve France anymore besides NCE. Maybe one day.
