Review of LOT Polish flight from Warsaw to Munich in Business

Hi,

Being on transfer I first had some views on waiting LOT aircraft while it still had daylight outside in the early afternoon.

Then I spent some hours in the Elite Lounge designated for Star Alliance Gold passengers within the general LOT Business Lounge in the Schengen area of Warsaw Airport. 

The lounge offers a nice selection of drinks and cold snacks from a self service buffet.

Warm meals can be ordered from the service staff however they are served in rathr cheap looking plastic due to Covid measures.

This is my selection:

Boarding started some minutes delayed in a somehow cramped and chaotic atmosphere. Still I managed to somehow get to the priority land and soon took my window seat in row 3.

A view to the side. In the end only 3 passengers were sitting in total in Business Class.

Seat pitch was quite ok and strange enough slightly better than on another LOT Embraer some days ago.

Once boarding was completed small disinfection towels were offered from a tray.

We soon pushed back and started to taxi out for this flight to Munich announced to take 1 hour 20 minutes this evening.

Soon after take off the curtains to Economy Class were closed.

A small cold meal tray was served with a selection of cold pre-packaged breads of different kinds from a basket. The meal tasted quite nice however I still think it is a strange LOT policy to serve two different kinds of cold main courses while no proper dessert is offered.

Next drink orders were taken which were soon served on a small tray from the galley. At this opportunity a small bag of nuts was offered as well.

The rest of the flight passed by quietly without the cabin crew asking for more drinks or anything. The responsible purser basically disappeared into the galley. The older lady way rather cold and just doing her job. The experience on my last LOT flights was in general that shorthaul crews are rather cold and unfriendly while longhaul crews are charming and provide a very nice atmosphere which actually looks like the have fun providing good service on longhaul travel.

We started descend soon and landed on time at Munich where we docked next to a Lufthansa Airbus.
