Review of Lufthansa flight from Lyon to Frankfurt in Economy

Hello all,
Today a very old archive flight as I am publishing my first flight to London with two other friends back in 2007, and in fact the trip that made me want to go and live the London life!

This report is to share with you my memories and what aviation looked like back in these days, but obviously I don't have as many pictures as I wish I'd be able to share with you.. 

We had a very much "student" budget, AF was way too expensive for us, and we found randomly on Lufthansa and British Airways websites that the price was ok. I think skyscanner wasn't around, we looked at expedia and liligo or something like this.

 
Of course I was nowhere near to be aware of the miles program at the time, but for info here is roughly how much Miles & More you'd get for this trip.

I remember this flight felt really like an adventure, I was having cash, traveller cheques, I event went to the UK consulate in Lyon to double check everything LOL

I can't really find the boarding pass anymore, I will try to find it and post it soon.

AT LYON - SAINT EXUPÉRY AIRPORT

Passed the excitation of booking a flight, printing everyhting in 2 copies, my 2 friends and I met at T1 of Lyon Airport, that was still called satolas at the time.
You can look at the cars near the TGV station and have a laugh!! 

I remember we had the googles looking at this guy "relaxing" randomly on the grass!

Here is the picture of our plane, apologise I took it from the paxbus and it is not the best picture of all times…

As you can see we boarded only with the front stairs; it is funny to see that there were just 120 seats on this plane.

The cruise… I remember my friends to be realllllly stressed out before take off; as it was their first flight, they even took to pills to relax!!
I was nothing but excited!

Hello Germany!

I don't remember on which runway we landed, but of course we parked away and waited for another paxbus - classic stuff at FRA!

That neighbour, the CRJ700 LH was just 4 years old and still according to AirFleet it is now with GoJet airlines.
