Salta, and the andese culture, here we are!
I was very lucky to go travelling 4 months in Latin America. I think this remains my best travel experience so far..
During our 4 months trip in Latin America, we went to a lot of places in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuator and Colombia.
Way out:
London - Paris CDG: Air France A320 report here

Way back
Bogota - Paris CDG: Air France B787-9 report here
Paris CDG - Londres Heathrow: Air France A318 report here

We flew Latam again because they were the cheapest reasonable option (without going to hard Low Cost) and we could claim Avios - perfect for our BA account!
Miles earned with this flight: 163 Avios
Status earned: 5 Tier points
Latam has an App that is well designed, user friendly and fast i must say: you can see your itinary, know your seats and luggage allowance at a glance, and of course download your boarding pass.

at buenos aires - jorge newbery aeroparque airport
We arrived at the airport from our previous flight from Iguazu.
The good thing about Aeroparque is that it is located really close to the city and offers great views on it, and the runway.

For those who wonder why 2 airports for Buenos Aires?
Well I will use Paris for a comparison:
- Ezeiza Ministero Pistirani airport is the equivalent of CDG, focusing vastly on international flights, even though lately Aerolineas Argentias also operates domestic flights from there.
- Jorge Newbery also know as Aeroparque is a bit like Orly: mostly domestic flights and sometimes flights to Brazil and other neighbouring countries.
The skyline of Palermo district of Buenos Aires.

We were due for boarding and in fact we did…
And after almost 45min of eventless situation, the captain made an announce saying that the aircraft had some technical failure, and that we were to unboard it, and go to another one.. Which we did.
This was a first for me!
onboard the a320
So with almost 2 hours delay, we boarded the second A320 of Latam, finally!
The gate moment…

Aircraft: Airbus A320-233
Registration:Don't remember sorry
Engines: 2x IAE 2527
Age: XXX
Layout: Y174
Observation: with the old Latam livery
The crew wasn't as good as the first fligth, and seemed a bit grumpy.
Ready for push back…

The cabin was a bit older than the previous plane, you can really tell looking at the buttons.

And we started taxiing… With again this beautiful view on Palermo..

And this B737-800 from Aerolineas Argentinas taking off..

and our turn to take off.
Ciao Aeroparque!

Flying over mar del plata

good bye portenos!

Flying over the pampas the By On Board services started..

There was no IFE but Latams offers tv, films and programs to be streamed on your phone, it is called Latam play - the app you have to download prior boarding and once on board you need to connect to their wifi network (although this is not a wifi service per say, just to stream movies on your own device). The amount of movies/series/documentaries availble in 3 languages was quite impressive, especially if we compare with Joon or Air Canada rouge that have the same offer.

Time for the magazine review!

So the dossier of the month was about Yucatan.

Latam seems to have a really big international network..

The approach started, and even if you can't feel it, you can tell thanks to the App!!

Approach onto cloudy Salta..

at salta - miguel de guelmes airport
We landed there safely despite the turbulences..
The airport is fairly small; it consists of just this one building.
And you can see our plane's reflections on the windows.

And for the stamp collection!
