Hi and welcome to this flight report with KLM from Naples to Amsterdam.
We arrived at Capodichino Airport at 09:40, which is precisely 2 hours before departure. However, no check-in counter was announced. All flights departing before us and the flight departing after us had one assigned. So we just waited for a few minutes.
We were 6 passengers, with a total of 5 carry-ons and 2 checked bags. We couldn't get our boarding passes during online check-in, so we would have to go to the check-in counter anyway.
Finally, check-in counter 9 opened for our flight to Amsterdam. The line wasn't that long but it took ages. When it was our turn, counter 8 opened as well.
After check-in, we went upstairs to find something to eat. Unfortunately, the McDonalds was closed. But we could also find someting to eat at Moccia
After security and the duty-free shops, we arrived in the area of our gate. C18, which was our gate, and C19, are the lasts of the C-pier. They're kind of separated from the rest of the C-gates
The chairs in the waiting area are pretty comfortable and we've got a nice view outside. Not much to see at the moment tho :( Except for a few Ryanair planes taking off
It's time to board! There is a jetbridge which ends in stairs. We then have to walk to the plane.
Fuselage shot. Fun fact: this is the exact same airplane as on my outbound flight: PH-BXY, a 13.5 years old B737-800.
We were first supposed to fly on a B737-700, but it got changed the day before to the longer 737-800. Our flight was pretty empty, so I suppose the AMS-NAP leg was (almost) full.

For lunch we've got a vegetarian sandwich with a soft drink of choice.
Afterwards the crew handed out small chocolate muffins. On my outbound flight we got apricot muffins instead.

The jetbridge leads us to the departure gates. It's a long walk to the arrivals hall.
But we finally made it. We picked up our checked bags and went to the train station to catch our Sprinter to Den Haag.
Our train was also almost empty.
