Hi,
I quickly checked in my luggage with a friendly agent at the SAS priority check in area.

SAS Fast Track in Terminal 3 is still closed due to Covid however SAS premium passengers can use the general CPH Fast Track security lane for free which was quick. Once airside I soon visited the SAS Gold lounge.

The regular lower level SAS Business lounge is still closed due to Covid so all guests currently use the upstairs SAS Gold lounge.

The lounge felt nice and airy and there were still enough seats available.

The bar is still closed however there is a quite ok selection of drinks and food from the self service buffet where you have to use plastic gloves due to Covid.

I had some asparagus soup, water and wine first. The taste was ok but nothing spectacular.

Followed by some cold salads and dry bread.

All in all an ok experience in the lounge but still the atmosphere was somehow deserted and cost saving / covid measures.
The apron was very empty this afternnon and CPH airport still completely misses the nice and busy feeling it had before Covid. Many shops are still closed as well.

In the B gates area our SAS CRJ900 was waiting in the sun.

Boarding soon started via the apron without any priorities.

At the aircraft entrance small desinfection towels were offered.

I took my window seat in a very full SAS Plus cabin which had 5 rows today.

A flight time of 1 hour 5 minutes was announced and we quickly taxiied to the runway. We had a nice departure over the Oresund bridge with some nice afternoon views.

Once we reached the cruising altitude the trolley made its appearance and a small meal paper meal box was served to all SAS Plus guests.

Here some details of the content.

The meal had a cold dish but unfortunately no bread, butter etc. was served. The cold meal tasted ok but actually missed some flavour. I had better meals on SAS Plus in the cool looking cubes before Covid.

The small plastic cutlery is not the most convenient to use.

The drinks trolley followed and I ordered some white wine and water. Unfortunately all is served in plastic cups nowadays - before Covid at least wine & beer was usually served in a real glass in SAS Plus on European flights.

I also ordered a cup of tea - however with SAS procedure you only get an empty cup and milk from the trolley while the tea follows ca. 10 minutes later being served separately from the flight attendant afterwards.

During approach some tasty chocolates were handed out in SAS Plus.

We approached Frankfurt through rather cloudy skies and touched down followed by a very long taxiing to our remote bus parking positionm.

From the bus taking us to the terminal I enjoyed some nice views on bigger aircrafts always nice to see in busy Frankfurt airport.
