Hi,
Welcome to this flight to Copenhagen in Denmark. It was a sunny afternoon when I arrived at Terminal 2 of Munich Airport. Check In was very quick as almost nobody was in queue in the priority Check In area.
After a brief security control I visited the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at gate G24 which has just reopened some days ago after a long Covid break. The lounge feels modern and offered enough free seats this afternoon.
Due to Covid there is only a small self service buffet of salads, dessert & ice cream.
All drinks and warm food have to be ordered from an employee at the bar desk.
I started with some nice tasting warm chicken curry dish and some wine.
I ended my meal with a small dessert and a cup of espresso. Overall a nice lounge experience this afternoon as Lufthansa finally offers a good selection of food and drinks again after the Covid lockdown.
Boarding started soon onto a bus that dropped us in front of a nice looking Lufthansa City Line CRJ900.
A desinfection towel was offered at the aircraft entrance.
Once I took my window seat I had a look outside on another waiting CRJ.
The flight ended rather full with a large Business Class cabin spreading over 10 rows and completely booked. Business Class obviously really sells well those days for Lufthansa.
A flight time of 1 hour 20 minutes was announced and we soon departed on time into sunny skies.
Flying through some clouds we climbed to our cruising altitude.
About 10 minutes into the flight a small bottle of water was distributed to all passengers including Economy Class which is the only free of charge drink left in the back of the cabin.
Some minutes later a trolley with a bread basket marked the start of the meal service for Business Class.
A cold meal was served.
Looking better without all the plastic covers. It tasted rather nice however nothing to write home about.
Another trolley followed with a full choice of drinks.
Refills were proactively offered later on and the female flight attendant responsible for Business Class was very friendly and chatty.
More clouds showed up while we reached the Baltic Sea and we started our descend into Copenhagen Kastrup Airport.
Final touchdown and a quick taxiing to the final parking position.
We parked next to a Sunclass Airbus in its new livery after the Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia bankrupcy.

Hallo Alex, im Voraus bereits vielen Dank für den schönen Bericht. Wir haben uns nur knapp verpasst - ich bin am 25. ab MUC geflogen und am 28. angekommen, während du um einen Tag versetzt flogst, vielleicht fliegt man nächstes Mal ja am gleichen Tag ;). Es ist in der Tat schön anzusehen, dass die LH nun zusätzlich zur G28 auch die G24 SEN und ab morgen die FCL wiedereröffnet hat und endlich ordentlichen Service anbietet, es geht aufwärts! Über das Menü, das du aufgetischt bekommen hast will ich nicht reden, sonst rege ich mich hier unnötigerweise über die LH auf. Eins kann ich dir jedoch sagen, auf meinen letzten sechs Flügen unter einer Stunde gab es immer dieses Menü. Vorgestern ist mir dann vollends die Hutschnur gerissen und ich habe mir ausschließlich die Schokolade vom Tablett genommen und dieses zurückgegeben, mein Report dürfte bald erscheinen... Immerhin gab es scheinbar keinen Beladungsfehler, keinen zu haben hat bei der LH inzwischen Seltenheitswert xD.

Hallo Lars, danke dir für dein sehr freundliches Feedback! Da haben wir uns ja tatsächlich ganz knapp verpasst - irgendwann klappt ein Treffen aber bestimmt mal! Das Lounge-Erlebnis passt jetzt zum Glück wieder ganz gut. Aber ich stimme dir voll zu, dass Lufthansa es mittlerweile echt überzieht mit dem Wiederholen der immer gleichen Mahlzeit!! Die sollten sich langsam wirklich dafür schämen. Dann weiterhin gute Flüge mit hoffentlich neuen Menükreationen und Viele Grüße, Alex
