Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc on Airbus A350-900. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribing Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.

Departure hall at the terminal

Let's head to the check-in area to get a boarding pass.

Vietnam Airlines check-in area

Today, I would fly on flight VN1821 to Phu Quoc, and the estimated departure time would be 6.20 am.

To save time, I decided to get my boarding pass at the check-in kiosk.

Then I went upstairs to do the security check.

After 10 minutes, the security check was cleared and I finally got into airside.

Time to go to the departure gate of this flight.

Here was the departure gate of this flight: gate 11, which is a bus gate.

Boarding was called, then I went downstairs and got on the bus to get to the aircraft.

The bus had arrived after a few minutes waiting. Let's jump on the bus right now.

This was the aircraft for today's flight.

This Airbus A350 has the registration of VN-A893, and it was 3 years old.

It has been a long time since the last time I was on A350, and it's super rare to see Vietnam Airlines sending large aircraft to Phu Quoc. So I felt extremely excited for this flight.

Boarding

Here was my seat on this flight: seat 37A.

Legroom was very generous and spacious at my seat.

Tray table

Personal screen

And a USB port located under the screen.

Adjustable headrest

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

The sunrise view outside the window looked absolutely gorgeous :D

I was lucky this time to get an empty row for myself :D

Refreshing tissues were handed out before departure.

Here was the refreshing tissue that I got.

Safety video was also screened before departure.

About 25 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxied to the runway.

Take-off

Unfortunately, the inflight entertainment system was not available on this flight but that's alright because the flight didn't last long.

10 minutes after take-off, drinks were served.

I just got a small bottle of water like on other short flights of Vietnam Airlines.

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat during the flight.

In the seat pocket, I had: a sickness bag, a safety card, and an inflight magazine of Vietnam Airlines named Heritage.

After 15 minutes in the air, the aircraft started to descend and prepared for landing.

Landing

The thunderstorm started to occur after the aircraft landed. That leads to the delay of disembarkation for about 10 minutes.

Disembarkation

As you can see, the disembarkation process was time-consuming. All the passengers would get to the terminal by busses and with the thunderstorm outside, it took me a long time to disembark.

A glance to the Premium Economy Class seats on this aircraft.

Finally, I was able to get out of the aircraft.

My journey had ended at Phu Quoc International Airport, Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Great report and amazing photos! Particularly liked the sunrise/winglet one and the view across the aisle to the other VN fuselage outside. Is the A350 to PQC just a short-term fix for the summer holidays? I'm surprised it's on the early rotation out of SGN!
