Introduction
This report continues from the Trip report: Tiger Airways TT426 Melbourne (MEL) > Hobart (HBA) posted in the routing section.
Introduction
Arrived at the airport on time. Check-in was quick as the flight was late night arrival in Melbourne. Received the boarding pass and moved towards the security check.
Security
After competing check-in passed through security, where I had to undergo random security check.
Waiting Area
Hobart Terminal has a small shopping area. Waiting area was full with departure to Melbourne and Sydney.
Waited near the boarding area. Soon boarding was called soon.
Boarding
After boarding pass was checked. walked out in the apron area to board the aircraft from rear of the aircraft.

After boarding was completed, Safety demonstrations was conducted manually.
Departure
Doors were closed and stairs were removed. Engines were turned on and the aircraft moved around to turned towards the runway.
Inflight
Inflight service was limited to Buy on Board [BOB]. As the flight was late night, not many purchased on board.
Arrival in Melbourne
Flight arrived on time but due to lack of parking space there was a delay of half hour.
Flight waited and went around to park in remote gate. Departed Hobart on time, arrived early in Melbourne at 21:10 but didn't have parking spot, waited for 40 min till a slot was free on the taxiway.
Disembarkation
After long wait, disembarkation was through stairs.
Exiting Airport
After disembarkation, walked to the terminal to collect baggage. Baggage took few minutes to arrive.
Collected bag and went out in cold to get a taxi.
