Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Jetstar Pacific from Dong Hoi to Ho Chi Minh City on Airbus A320. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Dong Hoi Airport, Dong Hoi, Quang Binh Province.

Let's get inside the terminal.

Landside of the airport

Jetstar Pacific's check-in counters

Today, I would fly on flight BL517 to Ho Chi Minh City, and the estimated departure time would be 8.05 pm.

Check-in was done, and I got my boarding pass quickly. Now I went to security check area.

Security check was fast, and I quickly got into the airside. Then I went upstairs to waiting area right away.

Dong Hoi Airport is quite a minor airport, and the interiors of this airport are a bit outdated. I think it really needs to innovate in the future.

Aircraft for this flight was just arrived from Ho Chi Minh City. This Airbus A320 has the registration of VN-A570, and it was 2.8 years old.

Here was the departure gate of this flight: gate 2.

Boarding was called, and I had to went downstairs and walked to the aircraft.

But before walking to the aircraft, I had to stay here and wait for this ATR 72 taxiing to the runway. This plane was departured to Hanoi.

The path was cleared, and I continued the journey to the aircraft.

Boarding

Here was my seat on this flight: seat 10A.

Legroom was pretty tight and cramp, which is just a typical thing when flying with low-cost carriers.

Tray table

Actually I don't know what is this and what is it for. Comment down below if you know what this is :D

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

20 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to taxi to the runway.

Take-off

I was quite lucky to get full Moon on this flight :D

In the seat pocket, I had: a menu, an inflight magazine of Jetstar Pacific, and a safety card.

Inside the menu, there are plentiful of snacks and drinks choices available onboard Jetstar Pacific, but for hot meals, you have to pre-order online before the flight. Souvenirs are also available onboard.

10 minutes after take-off, buy-on-board services were started.

I bought a small package of sweet cheese sandwich.

Outside was dark and there weren't many things happened during the flight, so I spent the remaining flight time to take a rest.

Moments later, the aircraft was flying through Central Highland region in Vietnam.

And the cabin light was turned on to before descending.

After over an hour in the air, the aircraft started to descend and prepared for landing.

Landing

Disembarkation

My journey had ended at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Hi Vinavia, nice report as always. Seems there's a lot of choice for domestic flights within Vietnam, which is a good thing as it keeps prices low. Jetstar Pacific seems like a decent option, but I don't see a huge difference in their product versus VietjetAir for example.
except maybe for this...
It's a tablet holder :-)
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment. Actually, Vietjet Air has the better price, but for this trip, Jetstar got the better time for me to fly so I chose them. In term of services, they don't have any difference. Also about that thing, I know about the tablet holder, but if you look closer to the seat picture, there is nothing below to hold the tablet, so it cannot be a tablet holder.
Nice flight report! ? For the device holder, you need to fold down the lower section. Here's a picture of it being used.
