Greetings and welcome to another flight report! Today will be another early start for me. I'll again be flying my usual BWI to PVD route on Southwest. After arriving to the airport, I cleared security and wasted no time in heading to my gate.

Upon reaching my gate, I realized that there were less than 60 people on the flight which would explain why I had an A boarding position.

Usually, even if I check in right at as it opens, I get at best a B position. With so few passengers, each of us was guaranteed a set of three seats. Soon, we were called to board.

I grabbed the whole of row seven. It was surreal how empty the flight was. Usually when I fly Southwest, I'd be lucky to not get stuck in one of the last few rows. Boarding was complete shorty after I took my seat and before long, we had begun our prolonged taxi.

Due to our light weight, not as much power was used as normal and our takeoff roll was one of the fastest I've had.

It was still dark when we took off, so I had views of the whole entire sunrise while airborne, which was stunning.

The flight attendants wasted no time in collecting drink orders and passing out pretzels. I had a coffee in addition to water, which I used to mix in a packet of Emergen-C to help fight off my cold.

I spent the rest of the flight reading in my makeshift lie-flat seat.

Before long, we were descending into cloudy Providence.

We had a soft landing and had a short taxi to the gate. PVD was eerily empty. I headed straight to the exit to enjoy my vacation.

Hard to believe this flight was several months pre-Covid with so many empty seats! I guess it was a lull in the holiday traffic. I'm not usually a fan of WN for several reasons, but I wouldn't mind them on an empty flight like this. I see you rated IFE 6/10--did they not have their streaming IFE installed on this a/c?
