INTRODUCTION
Here I am again for a FR from Paris Roissy Charles-De-Gaulle airport to Nice Côte d'Azur airport. A very classic FR in French version. However, it hasn't been reported in English yet.
During the year 2017, my job led me to the capital city. And now my mission has come to an end, it is time for me to go back home, to the French Riviera.
For this flight, another travelling companion will travel with me. She'll take a one-way ticket to go to Paris and we'll go back to NCE together with another booking. We took the family fee, which allowed to change or cancel our trip with extra fees. (10€ to modify and 20€ for cancellation). Of course, you need a document that proves that all traveling passengers belong to the same family.
At first we planned the return flight for the flight leaving at 6.10 pm so we arrived at 7.40 pm in order to complete all remaining formalties. Besides, some of my friends will come to bring us back home. However, formalties were done faster than we expected, so that we could leave earlier.
The departure time
We took the line 702 to reach CDG airport. It was rodeo time: the bus was empty but shook us like crazy ! We arrived at Roissypôle around 11.00 a.m. On the way, I spotted several AF's 777 and a VN's A350.

Once we arrived, we took CDGVAL going to Terminal 2.
Usually, I prefer BP on my smartphone than having them printed. But strangely, I couldn't have them on the app. I had then no choice but to print them on the kiosk.
While we printed our boarding pass, we were next to the AF ticket office. So we asked if there was an earlier flight. The only remaining vacant seats were on the 12.45 pm flight with a 105€ penalty fee. Although we declined at first, we suddenly changed our minds and decided to pay that extra. And then, that same check-in agent realised she made a typo, and only charged us 75€. She gave us our new boarding passes as well.
Now we had our new flight, we passed the security immediately because the boarding was about to begin. The security was rather crowded.

The newspapers's side.

A fountain.

Here's our aircraft. This is F-GPME.

The flight AF 7714 from PAris CDG to Nice
Boarding started. Priorities won't be respected.

The door moment:

Let's head out to our seats number 19A and 19B.
The pitch.

Clean test… with a nice surprise…

The belt-liveried.

The month's AF magazine, the safety card double-sided and vomito bag.

the winglet and our 8 neighbors.

MU about to leave and B2 that arrived.

We pushed-back in advance and we are reaching for our runway. A few aircrafts on our way.

We were behind a TG superjumbo before we overtook it. Another AF and an Easyjet followed us.

Here we go!!!

We're flying through the sea of clouds.

For this kind of flight, we just have a snack and a drink. We can choose between crackers and a cookie. Speaking of the cookie, the one I discovered earlier must have been coming from the previous flight because it was the same given by the crew.

(Double) Cheers!

We won't have turbulence during most of the flight. My seat's advantage: two windows, two spots to photograph the sky.

Air-to-air with an EZY and a private jet.

France's domestic destinations network. Back then, all flights were operated or were in codeshare with HOP! (A5), the Air France's regional low-cost airline. A bit like Air Inter 30 years ago. Nowadays, all domestic flights are sold as Air France flights but most of its regional aircrafts still have the HOP! livery.

Top of descent!

Cannes Mandelieu airport and the Palais des Festivals, also known to be the rendez-vous point of the annual Cannes Film Festival.

Approach phase negociated in turbulence.

Touchdown. Quick view of T2, currently used by U2 (Easyjet of course!) and EK's superjumbo.

Spotting of a Carpatair's Fokker 100, a Romanian airline I didn't know. Nowadays, its fleet is only made of this aircraft in 2 copies.

Last meters.

We were the last ones to disembark. The steward made a bit of humour while waiting our leave. (by the way, I met him again as I left to Tokyo). A last picture about our seats…

… and our aircraft.

Terminal 1 with OS, 2L and a Qatari coming in A319 during the winter season.

Our flight replay.

The author's last words
That's the end of this FR, which put an end to one year in the French's capital city. I hope you enjoyed it. If so, don't hesitate to put a like and subscribe. Thank you for reading me and have safe flights.
