Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh on one of the newest Airbus A321neo. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.

Let's go inside the terminal.

Departure hall of the terminal.

Because I got checked luggage this time so I went to the baggage drop-off counter to check my luggage.

Today, I would fly on flight VN1262 to Vinh, and the estimated departure time would be 6.31 am.

Vietnam Airlines' Economy Class check-in area

Check-in was done and luggage was checked. Then I went upstairs for security check.

20 minutes later, security check was done, and I made it into airside. I headed directly to departure gate of this flight right after that.

The departure gate for this flight was gate 9, which is a bus gate.

Boarding was called, and I went downstairs and got on the bus to get to the aircraft.

Here was the aircraft for today's flight. An Airbus A321neo with the registration of VN-A622, and it was 0.9 years old.

Boarding

This was my seat on this flight: seat 21A.

Even though the seats seem quite thick, legroom was pretty decent to me.

Tray table

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

Safety video was screened before departed.

About 25 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxi to the runway.

Take-off

10 minutes after take-off, snack boxes were served.

And here was the snack box that I got. Let's see what did I have inside the box.

Inside the box, I had a package of honey rice crackers and and a small package of mixed nuts.

For drink, I asked for a cup of tea.

The meal box was just fine, not really special, but I really like the mixed nut package, much more tasty than the rice crackers.

I went to the lavatory and took a glance there. The lavatory was really clean and new, and the amenities were basic for this short flight.

Cabin view

In the seat pocket, I had an inflight magazine of Vietnam Airlines named Heritage, a guide card about how to use wireless IFE system, a safety card, and a sickness bag.

Wireless inflight entertainment system is only available on Vietnam Airlines' Airbus A321neos. And this was the guide how to connect and use it.

Let's have a look at this IFE system.

The contents and the selections on this IFE system were absolutely limited. Some categories didn't even have any selections inside, which was pretty bad.

Views from my window

After about 1 hour and 10 minutes, the plane started to descend and prepared to land.

And the view of Vinh started to appear outside the window.

Landing

Welcome to Vinh International Airport, Nghe An Province :D

Disembarkation

My journey had ended at Vinh International Airport, Vinh. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Hi Vinavia, Always enjoy your beautifully photographed reports! The new VN 321neo is a bit underwhelming. For a brand new aircraft, it seems they didn't put a lot of amenities you would more commonly see on a neo. Like there is no power supply, not even USB, and no PTVs. I guess it's nice they have at least the streaming wireless IFE system, but wow...so little content! A bit disappointing of a cabin...what isn't disappointing is that they didn't put super slim seats in to try to squeeze in more passengers and maintained a decent level of comfort, so that's good! Also the new VN colours look super sexy on the 321neo!
Thanks for sharing!
Yes, you are absolutely right.
