Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Aeroflot from Hanoi to Moscow on Boeing 777-300ER. This was my first time flying long-haul flight, and also first time flying to Europe, so I was really excited for this flight. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Terminal 2, Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi.

Today, I would fly on flight SU291 to Moscow, and the estimated departure time would be 10.45 am.

Let's go inside the terminal.

Departure hall of the terminal.

Aeroflot's check-in counters were located at Island B of check-in area.

I had some troubles with my ticket but quickly solved by a check-in agent staff and I got my boarding pass after that. Then I went to immigration check.

15 minutes later, I finally finished the immigration and security check procedures and made into airside. Then I went straight to the departure gate.

The departure gate for this flight was gate 34

Here was the aircraft for today's flight. A Boeing 777-300ER named K. Balmont with the registration of VQ-BFL, and it was 0.8 years old.

Boarding

My seat on this flight was 22A.

Legroom was decent and pretty wide to me, enough to be comfortable on this flight

Tray table

Personal screen

IFE controller

USB port

Blanket and pillow are also provided at the seat.

And also amenity kit for Economy Class passengers.

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

Safety video was screened before departed.

45 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxi to the runway.

Take-off

After take-off, menus and headphones were handed out.

Let's take a look at today flight's menu.

While waiting for the meals, I took a look to the inflight entertainment system on this flight. As I saw, the selection of this IFE system were pretty large with many of movies, films, TV shows and song, unfortunately most of them were in Russian and English contents were limited. But for me, it was decent and enough to keep me entertain on this 9-hours flight. Also, the personal screens was not very responsive at some parts and corners.

45 minutes after take-off, first meal service was started. And drinks were served first.

And I asked for a cup of berry juice.

Hot meals were served shortly after that.

There were 2 options of meals and I chose the beef option.

Main course: Hungarian beef goulash with sauteed zucchini and potato with parsley.

Appetizer: Smoked dory fish with vegetables.

Dessert: Chocolate cheese cake.

Bread roll and butter

For drink, I asked for a cup of orange juice.

The meal was superb, everything on the tray was made really nice and delicious. I ate all the food on the meal tray.

Here was the other option: Seafood with tomato basil sauce, pasta and vegetables.

In the seat pocket, I had: a shopping catalogue of Aeroflot named SkyShop, two inflight magazine: one was Aeroflot and the another one was Aeroflot Style, a safety card, and a sickness bag.

In the amenity kit, I had: hand lotion, earplugs, eyeshade, and a pair of paper slippers.

I went to the lavatory and took a glance there. I was very impressed with this lavatory, especially the cleanliness, and how new and well-equipped it was.

Toothbrush sets and body lotion were also equipped in the lavatory.

Cabin view

The plane has travelled one third of the way to Moscow and I took some time to watch a little bit of a movie, enjoy the views outside the window then I took a nap.

2 hours later, I woke up and the plane was flying near the border between Uzbekistan and Russia.

Self-service bars were located in the galleys, and free drinks and snacks were provided there. I had taken some crackers, fruit bar, and Tula pryanik, which is a traditional Russian honey cake.

On this flight, I can access to inflight Wi-fi with extra fees. Unfortunately, the fees were pretty expensive so I decided not to access the Internet. But you still can read news on this system.

Before descending, second meal service was started. And like the first round of meal service, drinks were served first.

And I asked for a cup of berry juice.

Hot meals were served shortly after that.

There were 2 options of meal and I chose the fish option.

Main course: Steamed dory fish with ginger oyster sauce, egg noodles, and green mustard leaves.

Appetizer: Grilled Cajun chicken with vegetables.

Almond bread roll, butter and chocolate.

For drink, again I asked for a cup of berry juice because I really like this drink and this beverage is Aeroflot's signature drink :D

Again, like the first meal, I really liked this meal. It was really delicious and tasty.

Here was the other option: Chicken Gorky style with potato and vegetables.

After over 8 hours flying in the air, the aircraft was started to descend and prepared to land.

And the landscapes of Russia started to appear outside the window.
