Hi,
Fast track security at Terminal 1 was very relaxed and quiet - great that SAS Plus offers that priority feature as well as lounge access. I had some nice small breakfast at the quiet SAS Lounge. The design is very nice and provides a calm atmosphere.

On the way to my gate I spotted a nice Finnair A321 getting ready for a very long holiday flight across Europe down to sunny Gran Canaria.

Boarding onto my SAS CRJ900 operated by Cityjet has already started when I reached the gate. Boarding was a breeze via the apron and provided great aircraft views.

A rather friendly older lady welcomed me at the entrance and I took my window seat. SAS Plus cosnisted of 7 rows but only 6 persons were sitting there - so everybody had a free neighbour seat.

A flight time of 40 minutes was announced by the captain followed by a nice & professional pre recorded safety demonstration in English and Swedish.
We left the parking position 15 minutes ahead of schedule and soon powered into the clouds and reached a great sunrise while banking westwards to Stockholm.

Atmosphere was very nice & calm while the first sun of the day hit the cabin.

Soon the trolley was rolled down and SAS Plus guests could choose anything from the SAS Go Buy on Boards menu free of charge.

I had a polarbread cheese roll (tasted rather dry), a cup of tea and some very nice smoothie.

Reading the inflight magazine I noticed that SAS is about to roll out a new livery - not sure if I am happy about it because I really like their current livery with the red engines.

Flight soon came to and end and we approached Arlanda where we landed ahead of schedule.

Thanks for reading,
FlyAlex
