Hi,
Due to a huge traffic jam I had to rush to get this flight - I arrived at the agte 1 minute before being closed. So no lounge etc.
A friendly purser was greeting me at the door and I took my window seat some minutes before push back started. Business Class consisted of 3 rows this morning occupied by 6 persons. A flight time of 2 hours was announced.

We took off into cloudy skies and the seat belt sign stayed switched on for ca. 25 minutes into the flight. Once released cabin crew closed the curtains to Economy Class and service started relaxed.

Soon the drinks trolley came down the aisle and some pre meal drinks were offered where I opted for some freshly squeezed orange juice served on morning flights only plus water and a cup of tea.

No printed menus were offered on that flight but the very friendly purser taking care of the Business Class came around and took main dish orders: the choice was between scrambled eggs and some sweet waffle dish. I opted for the scrambled eggs which were soon served by hand from the galley followed by a warm bread basket.

The meal was nicely presented and included a proper linen napkin compared to shorter Lufthansa European flights. However the taste of the whole breakfast was only mediocre - also the croissant and bread tasted rather dry even though being warm.
Drink refills were frequently offered and the purser really took good & personal care of the Business Class - not seen that often on Lufthansa's European routes.

The flight progressed quick and soon we started the descend into Helsinki. During approach a hot towel was distributed which was a nice touch to end the flight.

Landing in Helsinki followed a descend through heavy clouds and loads of fog.

We parked at a gate position with a nice view of some Finnish turboprops.
