Hi,
It was a very early moning when I arrived at Terminal 1 Module A to which Eurowings has moved this summer. Security took a while and once airside there was not much to do that early in the morning and in rather old fashioned Terminal 1.
Boarding started on time onto a bus which took us to our Airbus 320 which I boarded via the rear stairs.

Cabin crew welcomed everyone rather friendly and I took my window seat. The seat was ok but pitch rather cramped - here you noticed Eurowings being a Low Cost carrier.

A flight time of 2 hours 15 minutes was announced and we taxied to the runway being one of the first planes this morning as Munich only allows departures as of 6 AM. We powered into still dark skies. For the first 30 minutes cabin stayed dark and most passengers continued to get some rest or kind of sleep. Sunset slowly started.

About 40 minutes after take off trolleys passed by offering Buy on board drinks & food. I just bought a cup of tea.

Sunlight soon hit the cabin and it got bright outside - a nice calm morning atmosphere on board.

Flight continued without trouble over the Balkan area.

Duty free & a second Buy on board service passed by but I did not buy anything else.
Soon we started descend into Heraklion where we landed after a nice long approach over the sea.

We parked at a remote position next to a Sundair Airbus.

Stepping out of the aircraft nice & warm sun started a relaxing holiday.

These early morning flights are perfect when heading to Greece, allowing for plenty of beach time on arrival. If I'm not mistaken, the cabins look identical to the LH short-haul cabins--maybe a little tighter pitch? Wow, you have to pay even for tea on Eurowings?
Thanks for sharing
Yes the early morning flights are hard in the beginning but then you still have the full day at your location. The seats were a little different to the regular LH Group seats. I would say this was a former Air Berlin plane because this Recaro seat model used to be placed on their planes. It just got new grey leather. The pitch definitely was a lot tighter than on LH mainline. Nothing is for free on Eurowings- they changed their Tarif concept this summer: now no longer any Tarif except Biz (not available on leisure routes) includes drinks or snacks.
