Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Vietjet Air from Ha Long Bay (Van Don/Quang Ninh) to Ho Chi Minh City on Airbus A321neo. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Van Don International Airport, Van Don, Quang Ninh Province.

Let's go inside the terminal.

Interesting facts of this airport: Van Don International Airport is currently the newest and the most beautiful airport in Vietnam. This airport serves for Quang Ninh Province, where the infamous UNESCO World Heritage Site Ha Long Bay is located. You can travel to Ha Long Bay from Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang by flying to this airport.
Departure hall of the terminal.

Today, I would fly on flight VJ231 to Ho Chi Minh City, and the estimated departure time would be 9:50 am. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed for 1 hour and 15 minutes due to reschedule, and the new departure time was 11:05 am.

Vietjet Air's check-in counters

The check-in process is quite convenient and fast. After checking in, I went to the security check area, and got inside the airside shortly afterwards. Like check-in process, the security check process was also fast.

Before going to the departure gate, I got around the airside to see what's inside this airport.

First, let's head to the airport's garden, aka smoking area :D

Even though the garden is quite small, it's still cool to have a small lovely green space inside the terminal.

Back to the terminal. Because the airport is still very new, so there are just one small shop and one restaurant in the airside.

Finally, the aircraft for this flight just arrived from Ho Chi Minh City. The registration of this A321neo is VN-A652, and it was 0.8 years old.

After getting around the airside, I headed back to the gate for this flight. And the gate for this flight was gate 5.

The waiting area at the gate.

Boarding was called, and time to board.

My seat on this flight was 18F.

Legroom was pretty large and spacious to me.

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

20 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxi to the runway.

Take-off

In the seat pocket, I had: a sickness bag, a safety card, a menu, and an inflight magazine of Vietjet Air called one2FLY.

10 minutes after take-off, buy-on-board service was started.

And I bought 2 small packages of Oreos, and cannot eat Oreo without milk, so I bought a cup of cereal milk.

Oreo and milk is such a perfect combination XD

Souvenirs and merchandise were sold after the meal service.

And I had bought a Vietjet Air's key chain for about a dollar.

Let's have a quick look at the lavatory. The lavatory was pretty small, but really clean & well-equipped.

And the coolest thing about this lavatory is that it was wallpapered. I had never been to a lavatory like this before :D

Window views and cabin view at my seat during the flight.

After 90 minutes in the air, the aircraft started to descend and prepared to land.

My journey had ended at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Wow, I'm super impressed with the Ha Long airport. It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing
Yes. If you have a chance to come to Vietnam, you have to try to go to Ha Long Bay and travel through VDO
