No question that United Airlines is the dominant carrier at Newark. Midtown and Lower Manhattan in the background

Boeing 757 that will take me across the country. Have not flown on a 757 in 10 years!

Retro lavatory that doesnt seem to have been refurbished like the cabin

Economy Plus have a free meal while the rest of the economy is Buy on Board. This was the only meal option left on the buy on board menu when it came to my row towards the rear of the aircraft. This was disappointing especially as this is a premium trans con service between New York and San San Francisco

No question who dominates SFO like EWR
The International G Gate is truly a changed site as just a few years ago at this time would be United 747s and now its all 777s and 787s

Conclusion

The cabin was well appointed and the service was good. However, it was disappointing that even on a transcon flight marketed as premium service there was not anything more substantial for meals. Both EWR and SFO were well-appointed terminals. Overall, this was a good flight between two major United hubs on opposite end of the coasts
