For my wife and I's 7th anniversary, we decided to take a trip to the NE to chase the leaves and the lobster roles!
We had a Delta gift card so our carrier of choice was obviously the pride of ATL,GA. We booked Main Cabin tickets and avoided checked bag fees by just taking a carry on item. It's been a few months since my last report but I promise 4 over the next week!
In a prior report we made it from CLT to LGA on a CRJ-900, now its time to continue on to Boston! So please sit back and enjoy the flight!
Sorry for the lack of pictures. Lets just blame the wife!

Check In
I checked in 24 hours prior to departure. My app was having issues so I switched to Delta.com and everything went smooth. I was able to have my BP sent via text. I stuck with my original free seats as this flight is short and I already had a window seat with a view. Nothing noteworthy at this stage itself for the app having issues on check in.
I decided against upgrading on this flight as it is very short and not worth it.

Arrival
After arriving at gate D6, we turned right and followed signs to the C terminal which is connected airside by a walkway. The walk to C41 is about 10 minutes or so. You do past some shops and food options but LGA is so congested it just happens to put one in a bad mood. This time was especially bad. It was so overpacked you stood no shot of eating in the terminal. Seating was very limited as well.
I had planned on using the Delta Sky Club but by the time we arrived at C41, we had just a few moments before boarding.

Boarding
Boarding began 1:11, 4 minutes early. Main Cabin 2 was called at 1:34.
Luckily we did not wait long as seating was hard to come by!
Seat
This plane was nice! It had to have been straight out the hanger from work! This was my first Airbus flight with the refreshed interiors. It was sleek and felt high end. The overhead bins were also very nice! This flight was operated as a "Shuttle" so I imagine they try to use the most updated aircraft possible.
Seat width was standard and leg room was too but the newness of the cabin gave me the sense of being more spacious than it was.

IFE
As with all mainline Delta flights, Wifi was installed. This aircraft also had a seatback system with live TV! Such a nice treat for a 30 minute flight! The seatback system had issues for the first 15 minutes or so but once working provided a nice feature for 15 minutes. The screen featured a USB port and universal chargers were between seats.
I must go back to the seatback screen…. it was amazing to have even if for 15 minutes. I was able to watch some NFL and i'm sure business passengers (hence "shuttle") would love the added comfort as well.

Seat pocket had your typical safety card, Wifi card, and Delta magazine

Food/Beverage
Usually, flights of this length do not have a beverage service but since it was a "shuttle" we received one. However, the back of the plane was not able to be served. The FA were really apologetic about it. I was able to be served a pack of nuts (only choice) and a coffee. Although it stinks for those in the back, I really do appreciate the effort to make sure everyone is served.

Inflight/Landing

We left the gate early at 1:53 and made a quick taxi to R31. We had several aircraft in front but still took off at 2:08 with a sharp turn right towards Boston!
The flight went very quick (thanks seat back screen!). No bumps to report and we made an early landing at 2:48 on Runway 4R. After a decent taxi we parked at A8 at 2:58.
Thanks for sharing your flight with us! I really amazed by the DL's cabin, they just upgraded the cabin looks and it does feels like they are turn young again.
