Hi,
As my transfer time was rather short I just had a quick dinner in the Swiss Business Lounge at the central terminal building near A gates. The lounge in general has a nice desig but it very often is crowded - also today it was rather full and feeling busy and hectic. Also the plates have been changed from real porcelain to high quality plastic now - a very strange thing for a Business Class Lounge which wants to be high quality.

Sunset was in full swing when I headed to my boarding gate at A pier. Once I reached my gate boarding had already started.

A friendly female Maitre de Cabin welcomed me on board and I took my window seat in row 5. This evening Business Class consisted of 6 rows separated by a curtain from Economy Class and almost fully occupied. Already waiting on the free middle seat was teh typcial welcoming bottle of water and a refreshing tissue.

A short flight time of 35 minutes was announced follwoed by a safety video. We departed almost perfectly on time (like a Swiss watch) towards the West while some last sun could be spot hitting through the thick layer of clouds we powered into. The A 220 is a great aircarft with extremely calm engines.

Some minutes later cabin crew sprang into action, closed the curtain to Economy and seconds later a cabin attendant was offering a small snack plate from a tray while his colleague followed with the drinks trolley. Both were extremely friendly and providing the level of service that you expect from Swiss Business. I had some red wine - where I was even offered a choice between Swiss & Portuguese red wine. That is really amazing on such a short hop!

The small snack was perfectly adequate for the short flight and all three dishes tasted excellent.
Soon we descended and landed some minmutes ahead of schedule at Munich.
