The terminal had just a few gates and even less gates with jetways. At the time the checkin luggage was included in the price and so the choice of seats too so we could have chosen our seats and those of the following flight too.

I don't remember much I am sorry however I am sure we were walking to the aircraft to board it - which wasn't that far off anyway.

Aircraft: Bombardier CRJ900
Registration: EC-JYA
Engines: 2x CF34
Age: 3 Years old in 2009
Layout: Y90
Observation: Air Nostrum is one of the largest operators of CRJs in Europe, with a bit more than 30 units.
on board the crj900
We were greeded by the captain at the cockpit door and soon after a very professional annouce by him about the flight.
The crew explained in spanish the safety procedures and soon after, they started to play a music whilst taxiing.
airline Iberia.
Climbing was faster than usual and after 10,000 feet, the fasten seat belts sign was turned off.
I do remember that the cabin was very quiet and the seats more confortable than the Recaro seats on Iberia's A320s.
Air Nostrum was giving complementary beverages and drinks; unlike the parent sister.
The Iberia Magazine, Ronda, was fairly well written, though mostly in Spanish and a good amount of corporate news; with an article about the last financial results of Iberia; the time of the merge with British Airways was about to come.

I liked the Iberia magasine as it had a lot of techincal details about its fleet; you can really see some details about our CRJ900.

The flight felt way shorter than the previous Madrid-Santander flight, there is a big difference of speed between a DH8-300 (289kn of cruise speed) and a CRJ900 (447kn of cruise speed) and you can really feel it, even on a short flight like this.

Descent happened very fast and the landing too as we didn't make any turnsand landed on 18R.

The terminal was bright, colourful, and airy, and well organised, there are some ground staff helps you for direction if you have a connecting flight like we had. We just had a little over a hour of connecting flight so we didn't have too much time to explore the terminal.
A very nice line up here!
