The pictures of the food are missing. The dinner was "chicken with rice" which was pretty good served with lime gelato. The mid flight snack was the usual turkey sandwich on United and breakfast was french toast, which was good but the fruits were almost frozen.
The crew on this flight were not as good as other long haul flights I have flown with on United. However, the cabin was really comfortable and this was a brand new plane at the time of flying (just a few months old).
This flight is no longer offered as it was replaced with a day time flight out of SFO . The advantage of the LAX-SIN flight over the SFO-SIN flight (assuming similar connecting flight times) is that the LAX-SIN flight is more payload restricted, meaning that there is a much higher chance of having an empty seat next to you in Economy class as more seats are blocked.
