As I arrived early from a longhaul flight I spent ca. 2,5 hours in the TAP Premium Lounge during transit. The ounge in general is modern and offers a rather big food & drink buffet. But it certainly feels already worn at many areas.
I approached the front desk to reserve a shower which I could have ca. 15 minutes later. The shower area offers all needed amenities however without any hair dryer. Also it alreay looks quite worn and definitely is way too warm and humid.
Boarding started on time with priority boarding respected - but again as so often at Lisbon via bus on a remote position. This however provided at least some nice aircraft shots during boarding via the front stairs.
Cabin crew welcome was cold to say the best and I reached my window seat 2F quickly. The whole Business Class consisting of 3 rows was fully occupied this morning. Seat pitch and comfort is very good and the seat design also modern including tablet holder & electricity plugs.
After a manual safety demonstration we took off for a flight of 2 hours 50 minutes across Europe.
This Airbus featured a full curtain separating Business from Economy Class - even behind the seats. This was very nice and provided more privacy in Business Class. All other previous TAP medium haul Airbus planes I travelled on so far only offered a stupid looking curtain in the aisle but noth behind the seats. So that was a nice difference here.
Already about 20 minutes after take off packaged cold refreshing towels were offered.
Only minutes later the purser quickly served a cold breakfast tray by hand from the galley. This was followed by warm breads & croissants from a basket and drink choices.
Bread & drink refills were offered one more time before all was cleared away. The breakfast tasted ok but still a flight of this length would certainly allow a hot main dish in Business Class.
Cabin crew disappeared hiding in the galley for the remaining 2 hours flight time not offering any more drinks etc. So I tried to sleep a little bit before we reached the Alps and starting descend into Munich where we landed on time.
However - typical TAP style - we again parked on a very remote apron position and were bused to the terminal building together with all other Economy Class passnegers.
