Hi,
It was a very early bird when I reached Munich Airport that Sunday morning. Check In at the Lufthansa counter was very friendly and soon I passed security. I was the first and only passenger in the Lufthansa Business Class Lounge this morning for ca. 20 minutes. It was great to have your own lounge for yourself and everything is still so clean. Because of this I took the opportunity to make some more detailed pictures of this lounge which is already rather well known by many of you.

Boarding started perfectly on time with a dedicated priority boarding lane. However as we boarded a bus for a remote position that did not really make sense in the end.
Our Airbus 319 was waiting east of the satellite building and a rather cold cabin crew welcomed us in the front galley. I took my window seat in the second row. Business Class consisted of three rows and only 3 passengers were seated there this morning. Seat pitch was excellent and the seats were comfortable and modern for such a medium haul flight.

A manual safety demonstration was conducted before we started our long taxiing. We departed into nice morning skies for our flight of 2 hours 50 minutes across Europe to Portugal.

Soon I could enjoy some nice views of the Alps as we proceeded direction south west.

A curtain was closed only in the aisle separating Business from Economy Class. As reported I fnd it really strange why TAP removed the curtains behind the seats - it just looks so strange just to have a curtain in the aisle and provides limited privacy only. Inflight service started late (ca. 45 minutes into the flight) with the distribution of some cold packaged refreshing towels from a tray.

About one hour into the flight a cold breakfast tray was served by hand without any options and also missing a warm dish. I think a medium range flight of 3 hours could definitely get a warm breakfast. Almost every competitor provides that in Europe.

Warm breads & croissants were offered from a basket and drink choices were asked and served directly from the galley.

The purser one time more reappeared to ask for some more drinks. Then the tray was cleared and cabin service was down. From non the crew did not come by again to ask for more drinks etc. for the remaining 1,5 hours of flight which is rather bad.
The flight passed on smoothely however.
On approach into Lisbon however we collected ca. 30 minutes of delay due to heavy rain there and some holding patterns.

Finally we touched down at a very rainy Lisbon Airport where we parked again at a remot position and had to take a bus to the terminal which caused some more delay and rush for quite a lot of transferring passengers.

Thanks for reading,

Thanks for another beautiful report!
I'm totally with you, especially if only three Business pax are on board, you definitely can expect some more attention for a flight of this length.
The seats look quite comfy compared to the usual Lufthansa ones for example. Am I right that those seats offer AC power? That is something often missing on inner-european flights but pretty useful nowadays.
Yes the seats indeed are more comfortable and more modern than e.g. on LH. They offered AC which makes sense as most of TAPs flight have a longer flight time of 2 - 4 hours due to the location of Portugal. Also the seats provided a clever tablet holder and very good pitch.
