Hey there, and welcome!
As it nears the school holidays in Singapore, I visited Kuala Lumpur for a short holiday getaway on Scoot.
Part 1: TR 466 SIN-KUL (Click here)
Part 2: TR 465 KUL-SIN (YOU ARE HERE)
On the day of my flight, I arrived at klia2 3 hours before my scheduled flight.
Took the KLIA Ekspres Train from KL Sentral to KLIA2.

Checked-in done in less than 10 mins at Scoot counter Row Z.
Airline: Scoot (TR)
Flight Number: TR465
Equipment: Airbus A320-200
Reg: 9V-TRO
Seat: 23A
From: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL)
To: Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN)
Proceeded to gate.

Full flight today.
Quick check on our flight information for the night.

Due to late arrival of inbound aircraft, boarding only started 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Upon boarding, cabin crew were seen to be finding overhead luggage space for passengers. On this short flight, most passengers were hand-carrying their bags, and hence resulted in a shortage of overhead compartment space.
Typical LCC Narrowbody seats onboard this airbus A320 (same seats found on airasia…etc).

Typical LCC 28" Seat pitch. The seats onboard Scoot are not well-padded, resulting an uncomfortable flight experience for longer flights. I am shocked that these A320s also operate flights to Japan with a transit stop in Taipei. In my opinion, for flights longer than 2h, you should avoid Scoot's A320.

As usual Some seatback literature the Scootalogue, Scoot Cafe menu, Safety card, and the airsickness bag.

Also found a pack of half eaten tong-garden cashew nuts left behind in the seat pocket by the previous passenger. Clearly cleaning was sketchy on this 40min turnaround flight.
Wingview for the evening.

Upon settling in my seat 23A, I saw that a backpack placed in the overhead bin by the lady seated across the aisle by the window was moved and stacked haphazardly by one of the cabin crew, onto someone else's bag. Makes me wonder whether the cabin crew was safe to carry out her job. She stuffed it into the bin in a way that the backpack would fall out when the compartment was opened, and I was afraid that it would hit the little boy sitting below the seat. Fortunately, a man from the row behind was kind enough to ask the Cabin crew to move it to a place that was safe. Unimpressed with the set of crew on this flight. No smiles whatsoever. Can't feel the "Scootitude" like what's advertised in their magazine.
After everyone has boarded, the door is closed and the aircraft starts to pushed back. The cabin crew carried out the safety demo.
As this was a night flight, most of the shots were dark and as such I will not post them here.
As mentioned previously, the flight was delayed and took off at around 10.59pm.
As we flew out of Singapore, captain mentioned that weather in Singapore was relatively good, (phew! unlike my previous flight to KL), and service was carried out 10 min after takeoff. Passengers were able to order light snacks from the menu (coffee/tea) and those who pre-booked meals were served.
The rest of the flight was uneventful, and
Landing into Singapore was 5 minutes ahead of schedule.
Thank you once again for taking your time to read this flight review, and please comment if you have any suggestions for me.
See you soon! Till then, happy flying!
