Welcome to this trip-report that will be reviewing the Korean B777-300.
At the time of making this trip-report , Korean Air has about 4 B777-300 .
The first B777-300 flight was in 1999 and that plane is still in service (according to airfleet.net).
Other than -300, Korean Air also own 14( -200ER) and 24(-300ER) in their fleet. All these aircrafts have the iconic Korean Air First Class suites.
This route is normally served by an A330 but for some reason for the past couple of weeks they shifted to the B777-300. (But they switched back into the A330, at the time of writing the tripreport).
My route is simple:
Korean Air B777-300 Economy Class Shanghai Pudong Interntaional to Seoul Incheon
Korean Air A330-300 Economy Class Seoul Incheon to Shanghai Pudong International(coming soon)
I reached the airport using the convenient Shanghai Metro. Some pictures of the outer terminal.

The metro station was connected with the amazing check-in terminal. The high ceilings make the atmoshpere lively and less stressful.

Our flight was departing from terminal 1 which is home to mega giant China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines . The terminal is also used by some members of the oneworld alliance (Qanats, SriLankan and Japan Airlines) and some members of the Skyteam alliance(China eastern, Air France,KLM,Delta, Korean Airlines and China Airlines). All the Star Alliance members operate from terminal 2.

Korean Airlines have their own ticketing counter next to their check-in desks. I bought my tickets online.

The check-in was fast and efficient and the Agents were kind and calm.

The departure board. It is a very busy schedule like always.

I also took a quick bite in subway before my flight. Note: Subway is located before immigration.

The immigration was suprisingly quick unlike my other trips in Shanghai Pudong.

Some pictures of the terminal after immigration

I would be departing from gate 21

The waiting area

The colourful bourding pass for all the boarding pass enthusiasts.

Our beautiful plane just arrived from Seoul Incheon

Boarding began with the business class passengers allowed to board first. The flight seemed to be about 75% full.

Jet-bridge plane spotting.
Air France B777-300ER to Paris Charlles de Gaulle (This route is also operated by an A380 during the evenings)
Delta B777-300ER to Detroit

The Cabin Crew welcomed the passengers with a warm smile . This was the business class cabin. The business class was a 2-3-2 layout

and then it was the economy class cabin. There was a pillow on my seat

The in-flight entertainment system . The system was decent and it is more than enough for short flights like this one. The entertainment system could have been worse but it could have been better.

The cabin is configured into a 3-3-3 configuration

Some pictures of the In-flight literature and the Safety Card

Departure was on time and minutes after departure the cabin crew started the meal service. My meal was a vegetarian meal.

The lavatory was clean and well maintained.

The rest of the flight was uneventful and we landed on-time in Seoul Incheon. Some pictures of the terminal.

One final picture of my plane

After the quick Immigration i went to the baggage claim. My bag arrived really quickly. This airport is really efficient.

I took a bus to my hotel. The bus ticket counter was also conveniently located

Thanks for this FR.
It seems you flew on a plane with the regional configuration.
Decent meal, even if it's mostly vegetables.
Nice to see KE have a 3-3-3 config on the B777! KE is definitely one of the best airlines in Asia.
Awesome experience! Correction: DL does not own any 77W, they either have 77L or 77E
Regarding the AF 777, it is a Boeing 777-200ER, not a 300ER
