Hi,
I checked in my luggage at the quite dull United Premier access area where the staff was very unfriendly - so not the best start.

As United First for domestic flights does not include lounge access I spend my waiting time at the very old fashioned and small G gates pier of Miami airport.
Here you can see the dull setting of this pier:

This is the 737-800 for the the trip to Houston:

Boarding started by groups and I was among the first to be on the plane.
This 737-800 was quite worn and old-fashioned. The seats were ok but not too comfortable, especially in fully upright position.
However this plane still featured DirecTV which is great as it offers ca. 100 live TV channels for free in First Class.

I was soon asked for my choice of pre departure drink and I opted for some cranberry juice.

First Class was served by two very friendly and charming females today which did a great job thoughout the whole flight.
We left Miami in sunny skies and soon left the coast line for the 2hrs 20 mins flight to Houston.

Service started with great thick hot towels and drink orders.
I opted for a Ginger ale.

Then I was asked if I would prefer a cheese plate or wrap for lunch. I decided for the wrap.
The meal was very small for a flight scheduled amost 3 hours and tasted ok. Anywhere outside the USA you would get a perfectly full meal for such a medium range flight.

After the meal I enjoyed a cup of tea and watched some TV.

The TV screen also has an airshow map channel.

Soon we touched down at Houston.

Thanks for sharing. To your comment above, it looks like UA doesn't offer much food in F - this looks like a pretty small lunch for a flight almost 3 hours at length.
