I was travelling from Iceland to Naples, Italy. I first flew from Keflavik to Munich with Icelandair (you can read my review here: https://flight-report.com/en/report/31703/Icelandair-FI532-Reykjav-k-KEF-Munich-MUC), then from Munich to Milan with Easyjet, followed by another Easyjet flight from Milan to Naples.
An Easyjet flight between Munich and Milan should be nothing special but this one was exceptionally good - you will see below why.
I arrived to the airport at about 7am.

Although I already checked-in on-line and I only had hand luggage I had a look at Easyjet's check-in area at Terminal 1Z - it was almost completely deserted, similarly to almost the whole terminal.

This is definitely a dead time at Munich Airport Terminal 1 at about 8 am. You can see however that a lot more flights leave from Terminal 2.

There was only one channel at security but it was still fast.

The waiting area for our gate had a few shops, a bakery and a Bavarian pub.

Boarding started on time. Priorities were respected: the only wheelchair passenger went first, followed by the only family and the only speedy boarding passenger - that was me. Only 70 pax today, a very light load! Boarding was through a bridge with a very partial view of our aircraft.

"Bongiorno, benvenuto a bordo!" said the young cabin crew member with a big smile. The friendliest welcome I have experienced for a long time; I'm sure he would be one of best cabin crews even on a five-star airline's first class.
My idea of low-cost travel is always to book a low fare then buy all the extras such as priority boarding and extra legroom to make my flights enjoyable. I booked seat 1C but as I was alone in row 1 I moved to seat 1A. As you can see legroom was really huge. Note that seats 1ABC have a much better legroom on most Easyjet aircrafts than seats 1DEF.

Push-back was at 8.45 and we took off at 8.58. Some views over Munich Airport and right after take-off

The weather was absolutely perfect with amazing views over the Alps

As I was between breakfast and lunch I only purchased some water. Service was exceptionally friendly.

It was more cloudy on the Italian side of the Alps with some industrial views

Landing was at 9.49, about 50 minutes after take-off. I was outside of the terminal building very quickly, exactly at 10.00. Some information to take the train from the airport to the city.

I had to take another Easyjet flight. Easyjet does not offer connecting flights, so even if I was checked-in for my next flight I had to go out from the arrival terminal and walk two minutes to departures.

I don't report my next flight from Milan to Naples. And while my Munich to Milan flight was perfect, my other flight was awful: the flight was delayed, boarding was the most crowded I've seen for ages (all 150 or so passengers had to wait for a long time in a very restricted area in an otherwise huge and empty terminal), the plane was full and the crew was uninterested. As you can see two flights that should offer a very similar experience (same airline, same aircraft, similar flight time) can be extremely different.
Great review!
I flew with EasyJet from London Stanstead to Palma De Mallorca and had a great flight!!
