Hello,
I checked in my luggage at the Lufthansa Business Class area and was handled by a very friendly lady today.
Having passed security control I had a snack in the old style and quite dull Lufthansa Business Lounge at T2 main terminal building.

I passed a nice Singapore Airlines A350 which I would have preferred to board before reaching my gate.

Boarding started on time and was conducted via two airbridges to our Airbus 321 today.

That meant that Business Class had their own airbridge like on a widebody plane - a nice process actually for a shorthaul flight.
I settled into my window seat for this quick one hour flight down to Rome.
The middle seat was blocked with a table and also the aisle seat remained empty. So I could enjoy privacy and stretch out.
In total there were 6 rows of Business Class today.

We departed on time and were soon flying over the Alps.

A cold meal was served soon accompanied by a wide selection of drinks.
The meal tasted fine but without being spectacular. Warm bread from a basket was also offered.

The cabin crew on today's flight was rather cool and only doing their job.
They were not caring about details at all - they never closed the separating curtain to Economy Class and once meal was served they disappeared to Economy to help with the service there.
That means no more refills or asking for additional drinks etc. Rather disappointing for Business Class.

We touched down on time in Alitalia (maybe in future also Lufthansa ;) ) terrain.

Thanks for reading,
