More Airbus A330-300's! Korean Air Airbus A330-300 ready for departure

Departure from Maldives Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (VRMM/MLE) post- technical stop en-route to Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (VCBI/CMB) Sri Lanka was as scheduled, with no passengers being taken on since Turkish Airlines does not have "5th Freedom flights" on offer for this sector.
Other carriers namely Emirates, Korean Air, China Eastern Airlines as well as China Southern Airlines do have rights to operate 5th Freedom Flights, however this sector is dominated by Sri Lankan Airlines operating 26 rotations per week out of Colombo connecting these two cities.
And we were off

Being a full service airlines, we were entitled to a much awaited Meal for this short-haul flight, today's serving comprised of Tavuk being the only option available which was a decent bite, along with the usual beverage options of tea/coffee or soft drinks as well as alcohol being available

Cabin/Seat/IFE
Overall by far the best Y Class product i've ever been on in all my years of flying!

Service was smooth and by the time the cabin was cleared out after meal service it was time to land

The whole experience on Turkish Airlines was flawless, nothing to complain about at all. A brilliant airline outclassing all the other full service carriers i've been on to date.
Flying Long-haul? Fly Turkish Airlines.
Eyvallah!
