Hello,
Welcome to this holiday flight to the Greek island of Crete.
I used one of the Condor bag drop counters in Terminal 1 D and without long waiting times I was waiting at the gate for boarding to start.
A lot of holiday traffic already going on in the early morning here:

Boarding time started on time and we were transfered by bus to our Airbus A320 which was waiting for us in the nice morning sun.
Our Airbus still featured the older Condor/Thomas Cook livery.

I boarded via the rear stairs and found my window seat 23A soon.
The cabin looked very modern and clean however the seat pitch is quite limited and also the seats are not the most comfortable ones because of small armrests and small tables etc.

The atmosphere on board was nice and music was playing to bring the passengers into holiday mood.
The extremely friendly crew welcomed us and particularly thanked for choosing Condor today and making it possible that they fly around for already more than 60 years.
We had a small delay due to slot waiting but then we finally pushed back and taxied to our runway while the safety video was shown on the overhead monitors.
We departed towards the east for our 2 hrs 20 min flight to Heraklion.

Condor does not offer any free food or drinks on short and medium haul flights but there is a huge choice to select from the onboard menu.
Additionally you can pre order meals before the flight which is what I did.
Soon the cabin crew served me this great tasting Premium meal which did cost 9 EUR when preordered. It also comes with a free glass of water and either coffee or tea.

The meal was a very good value for money in my opinion.
Flight passed by smoothely: there were several free audio channels and a free television programming playing on the overhead screens.
Cabin crew also passed by to sell duty free products.

The approach via the Aegean sea was very nice and we disembarked to the apron and a bus in the great Greek sunshine.

Holidays to come!

Thanks for this FR.
Indeed for 9€ this is a really nice meal, with treal cutlery.
Too bad you didn't get on the retro A320.
